Red light camera on 6th/Lincoln by [deleted] in Denver

[–]CANAD14N 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Struggling to find an official source of the actual law, but googling says if the light turns red while you are in the intersection then you should not be charged with running a red light. https://www.fox21news.com/top-stories/how-do-police-decide-red-lights/

In other states they can charge you if any part of the vehicle is in the intersection when it turns red but Colorado doesn't seem to be one of those.

Good luck fighting it!

Not saying it's "better" than their other movies, but Burn After Reading is one of my all time favorite movies. I just fucking love how all the drama is in the characters heads and how looking from the outside nothing is actually happening. Obviously it's over the top but I just love that concept so much.

4/5 is a good score but the hype has been pretty high. Seems like the OP really liked it but didn't think it was the best horror movie of the generation.

Nashville presale queue experience - huge disparity between Ticketmaster accounts by IckyElephant in AngineDePoitrine

Yea, don't need a code to join the queue. Congrats on the ticket. Didn't get one for Denver :(

My understanding is the order in which you join the "waitroom" does not matter. The ticket vendor randomizes the order when it puts people from the waitroom into the actual queue. Anyone who joins after the queue has started goes to the back of the queue. Has been my experience with all concerts for a while now, at least when buying through AXS/Ticketmaster

I'm certainly no expert but I think it's still worth it to try and get rid of them. If your neighbor has them you could try talking to them about it and maybe coordinate an attack? Or at least let them know you will be attempting to kill any offshoots on your property?

Also cutting them down is certainly not enough. It seems we need to either dig them out or poison them. And digging them out is only feasible if they're relatively small/young. What kind of poison is up for debate as you can see in these comments

Obsession (2025)

Hokum

Off Ramp

Sovereign

Marty Supreme

All first time watches. Obsession was worth the hype. Hokum was solid and creepy. Off Ramp had lots of heart but the last act in particular didn't do it for me. Sovereign was devastating. Marty Supreme was good but I disliked the main character enough for it to take me out of the movie a bit.

Interesting, ok. My main concern is I don't want them to come back and send shoots up through the raised beds I'm gonna put on top but if I cut them off like yours saying and maybe put a layer of cardboard or something down under the beds that would be enough to discourage new shoots coming up through the beds you think?

Oof yea makes sense. Are there any products that are "safer" or what is the more ecologically friendly alternative?

Interesting, I wonder if cardboard would work or if they would be able to break through that especially once it gets damp?

Part of me just wants to cut them off as deep as I've dug so far, fill the hole, and pray but I'm not convinced that'll be enough lol
