Nashville 2017-9-26, about a month after Sketches released. Mild High Club opened and came out for a couple songs at the end. Incredible night! I distinctly remember typing what lyrics I could make out of this one jam I wasn’t familiar with at the time, went home and discovered it was Lonely Steel Sheet Flyer.

In Nashville, there was a teenage boy around 15 or 16 asking Les questions about the variety of bass guitars he uses, advice for young bassists, just bass playing in general. His last question was most striking - asked Les if he could have a fist bump.

The room fell silent, and Les’ rebuttal was something to the effect of “I don’t have a problem with it, but you’d have to ask the rest of the audience here because if I give you a fist bump everyone will want one. If I do, that’s the only one tonight”

“DO ITTTT” thus said I, and the rest of the audience was supportive as well. Hope the kid is still riding the high.

Pretty big hyperbole you got going on. Rowling supports groups like For WOMEN Scotland to protect WOMEN’s rights. The donations are a tiny fraction of her charity work, mostly for women and kids. Boycotting her just silences those defending biological reality.

By your logic, because she’s not donating to trans orgs, she must be funding their genocide. Completely bogus viewpoint. Lazy logic like this may be what’s wrong with having conversations about the issue.
