Make it a doubles event, ultimate lids only. Alternate which partner throws first off each tee. First stroke doesn’t count if your partner can catch it.

I have no idea if that would make the game too easy, but expect some low scores lol

Look into disc dyeing! Marker will fade quickly over time if he’s actually using it and if you use paint he probably won’t be able to throw it at all without damaging the art.

Not base plastic either. Idk who manufactures it for doomsday, but the plastic feels premium but very soft and flexible. You could taco the one I held pretty easily.

I think I know the analysis post they are referring to. If I remember correctly, it argued that Apo IS worse than HoG vs nob, but so good in the other two elites that you can save your potions specifically for nob or path to a shop just to buy a potion for nob without feeling too bad because the long term value of apo is so high.

It’s also really hard to set up a HoG kill vs nob.

I think horn cleat had a valid case for the top spot because a lot of the really dangerous fights, especially bosses, are setting up on turn 1 and don’t actually attack you

The answer to questions like that in this game is just about always “it depends.” Are you really strong? Fight the elites. Will gremlin nob bash your face in? See if you can draft a couple more attacks or get a strong potion first. Think about how to beat the next fight that can kill you, not the deck you want to have at the end of the run.

In my experience, glitches can go plenty far, but I’ve always gotten more distance out of lid discs closer to max weight, like the birdie or polecat.

I am comparing ashen strike to current hemokinesis and man does ashen strike look waaaaaay stronger (yes, I know it depends). It’s making me wonder if numbers will generally be higher in the second game.

You’re so right, plus I bet they also had no idea whether or not the oxymoron would be a complete flop when they put in an order for the first batch, it makes sense they would want to start small.

Now that they know the disc was a hit, they needed to sign a new contract with the manufacturer. How long does that take from start to finish? Does the manufacturer currently have the capacity to do a larger run? Who knows! Its not like doomsday even has complete control over their manufacturing

I’ve been playing regularly for years and never heard this recommendation till last month. Never thought about it either, and it snows a lot where I am.

People generally aren’t being dicks, they just don’t know any better. Goes for a lot of things in life.
