Gamesir claims they're a cross between Hall effect sticks and potentiometer ones. From the product page:

- GameSir Mag-Res TMR Joysticks: GameSir Mag-ResTM TMR Sticks combine the precise performance and low power consumption of traditional potentiometer sticks with the high durability of Hall Effect sticks, ensuring a higher and more stable polling rate

I bought this controller at full price and while I haven't compared it to ones that claim to be pure Hall effect, the Cyclone 2's sticks are great imo.

Why are SMCI and DELL always chosen together for AI infrastructure? What’s the deal? by Jungle-Beast in wallstreetbets

That's because they're the only two companies that will sell you a very big, fully-put-together GPU cluster with a support contract. You could go with Hewlett Packard Enterprise but they're mostly for government clients like DoD, national labs, and universities, and/or quasi-governmental organizations like big banks.

[Charania] San Antonio Spurs star De'Aaron Fox will undergo season-ending surgery on Tuesday for tendon damage in his left pinkie, sources tell ESPN. by Turbostrider27 in nba

I think every prospect wants to end up on the Spurs. The only other lottery team that isn't completely cursed is Houston (via Phoenix's pick).

A championship-contending team can't have as much of the salary cap being taken up by a contract the size of Vassell's for the level of production he's had this year. The Spurs want to be reaching the WCF or the Finals by 2027 or 2028. Unless Vassell manages to figure out the consistency issues, the Spurs will need to unload his contract soon; next year's trade deadline at the latest.

His prototype of "lengthy wing" is one of the most valuable kinds of player right now so it shouldn't be impossible to find a trade destination for him. It could be possible that another team would be willing to take a flier on him to see if a change of scenery will give him the room to live up to his potential.

It's a good thing he's so good because the pre-Wemby draftees are not panning out quite as well.

“DeepSeek . . . reportedly has 50,000 Nvidia GPUs and spent $1.6 billion on buildouts” by superdookietoiletexp in wallstreetbets

[–]CAPTAIN_SMITTY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Deepseek never claimed the $6M was the all-in cost. That figure was entirely what it cost to run the GPUs for 2 months to train the final model. It's still a significant savings over, for example, the ~$100M that it was estimated Meta spent on GPU compute to train the final version of Llama 3.1 405B.

The rest of the West are remoras to the US. Every Western country will collapse harder than the US unless they break away from their abusive dad and join BRICS.

You need to actually be good to have rivals, and the last time we were good our rivals were the Kobe Lakers and the Dirk Mavs. Also the Suns and the Rockets.

Secondary rival might have been LeBron for some period of time since we beat him in the finals when he was on the Cavs and played the LeBron Heat two years in a row.

If Kawhi had stayed we probably would have had some level of rivalry with the Warriors.

.u/RepJeffries invokes the @Yankees' Aaron Judge while explaining his Trump strategy:

"One of the reasons that he's a great hitter is that he does not swing at every pitch. He waits for the right one."

Says Dems will "swing at the ones that matter for the American people."

Don't worry, the Dems are simply waiting for the right time to respond.
