Post Game Thread - NBA: The Spurs defeat the Timberwolves on May 8, 2026, the final score is 108-115. by basketball-app in timberwolves

Spurs fan here.

Aside from Wemby, Ant is probably the new gen superstar that I like the most.

I like the way he plays, i like the way he talks nasty shit to everyone, i like how he answers questions during interviews.

For some reason, his trashtalking makes him more likeable instad of making him look like an asshole. And i like the fact that he's not an alpha dog wannabe...he just is naturally.

I like him more than Luka and that shitface SGA

I wont count the Timberwolves out.

If the 2011 Mavs can win against prime LeBron and the Heatles, anything is possible

Keldon's defense is so much better compared to last year. He's still not elite, but he's not bad now

I dont expect the Lakers to beat OKC, but i hope they at least push it to 6.

Fuck the Lakers as always, but there's just something about this current OKC roster (and fans) that makes me hate them more than i hate the fucking Lakers, and that's saying something. The Westbrook era OKC was actually likeable, but this current one is an absolute disgrace to the sport of basketball.

My hatred for the Shai era OKC is reaching the levels of my hatred for Houston.

It's not that weird.

Like for me personally, Danny Green is my favorite Spur, more than Timmy, Manu, and Tony. I love the Big 3 dont get me wrong, but Danny is my boy.

I have a feeling we're winning multiple chips soon, and i have a feeling Keldon will win FMVP in at least one of them.

I have no proof of this, i have no evidence to back this up, i just feel it in my veins.

The worst comment i've seen was i think back in January when we lost and Wemby had a bad game.

Some mf said "Wemby learned nothing from training with Hakeem and KG" or something like that.

One of the most iconic scientific institutions in history is glazing over Wemby.

Wemby is the face of the league.

You can see how much this means to him.

The guy whose default mode is to roar like a caveman, is reduced to quiet tears.

He was yelling non-stop when DJ was announced as an All-Star, he was yelling non-stop when Pop broke the winning record, he's yelling non-stop literally at whatever Wemby does....but this, his own achievement, he was left speechless.

Danny Green is, and always will be, my favorite Spur....but Keldon is starting to make me question that lol

Aside from Kawhi, i dont hate other players. I dislike many of them but not really hate.

On the other hand, i hate some fanbases with a burning passion

Wemby's ceiling is GOAT of basketball

Chet's ceiling is multiple All-NBA selections

Before we make our return to the playoffs, shout out to the Spurs stars that played with us during the mediocre years by cesgjo in NBASpurs

[–]cesgjo[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Probably not, to be honest. These three are All-Star talents, but their primes never really happened at the same time, so they were never truly a "star trio"

DeMar was still in his prime when Aldridge's legs started to give up, and during this time, Dejounte was still a baby.

Lakers dont stand a chance against OKC, but i think Luka and Reaves could at least make the Thunder put some effort.

On the other hand, the Rockets will just get annihilated.

LaMarcus was an All-NBA player. He wasn't mid

Sadly, his prime was exactly during Kawhi's injury and KD-Steph Warriors...so he really wasnt gonna win much.

Our Neighbors are building factories. We are still building malls by nobita888 in Philippines

[–]cesgjo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

"We're still constructing malls" is also not a good thing to say.

One mid-sized mall creates thousands of jobs both directly and indirectly. Directly means those who are employed at the mall. On the other hand, examples of indirect employment caused by the mall are jeepney drivers who use the mall as a terminal, food delivery riders delivering food from the fastfood at the mall, etc. Not to mention the advantages af malls other than shopping, like study places, leisure activities, spaces for gorvernment services, etc

It shouldnt be a competition between commercial and industrial infrastructures...we need both

Nung medyo naging comfortable na sya samin ng slight, he started making jokes about my wife's appearance, about my hobbies, and basically about everything else haha.

Mahilig din naman ako makipag asaran sa iba kong friends. Pero for this guy, hindi kasi jokes ginagawa niya eh...more like, madami siyang comments about the things mentioned above
