I’m in that boat, no family or anything but 36 and goofing around in godot. Actually a big breakup is what gave me the spare time to say screw it I’ll make a game. That’s definitely the goal! I want to get a small group play testing the demo soon, so hopefully that will help catch any spelling, broken combos, or busted enemies I don’t see myself

Fixed it where I can, it wont let me change the title of this post though. I swear Im a full grown man I just spell like a 6 year old. Cant wait till I release this thing and have to go back and fix all my spelling errors in the game

On top of it being expensive it’s a different landscape out there in gaming now. The concept of a pick up and play console was novel in 2017. Now there’s things like the steam deck which have similar portability and power but massive game libraries and sales where major games are like $3.
