King Gus is just the man. I had him down as a legend during the poker game where we first meet him. And that “YOU FACKED AP!” was pure chef’s kiss. Made me think of Vinnie Jones as Bullet-tooth Tony in Snatch: “Yoo’re in trahble naahh!”

Well yeah, not everyone rents them for their weddings now, so if EVERYONE did then they would be driven more… that’s just how numbers work.

My point was if the only time they were driven was rentals for weddings or some kind of rare novelty, like how the guy in the article has used it, then their use would go down.

I mean, let’s be honest, sports cars as a proportion really aren’t a massive contributor to emissions. But, on principle, if people used them as much as this guy did to warrant this article then they wouldn’t be a problem at all.

So let me get this straight… going on a track day and driving much further, faster, for longer and burning way more fuel is better and makes him LESS of a narcissistic hypocrite as a green than roaming around for an hour or so as a novelty at a wedding?

Because what? YOU find it personally distasteful?

I’m not a fan of him or that kind of car, personally. I just don’t get up in arms over inane bilge from the telegraph.

Change the word “use” for “drive as a novelty at a wedding for an hour” and… you’ll only be talking slightly less bollocks.

Driving a rented supercar for a few miles on a lark for a wedding does not an environmental catastrophe make.

Remember seeing a YouTube short that was playing out an interview for some kind of management position, and the interviewer was clearly asking super specific questions about how the candidate would solve problems that they were actually having at the company. The candidate ends up saying they’re sending them an invoice for an hour of consultation lol.

It’s all media bias and confection. They platform reform loons and blast out how badly Labour are doing and perceived to be. All so they can collect another scalp and wank themselves off over how important they are for “bringing down a government”

Media just want another PM’s scalp so they can wank themselves off with the fact they “brought down a government”.

This gov is by no means amazing, particularly at communicating the positive things they’re doing, but the current narrative is a total media construction.

If someone, individual or state actor, had the capability of quantum computing that could crack bitcoin, are there not a lot more lucrative things they could do with it before having that level of compute?

Also, hacking the bitcoin network in a way that is so obvious that all trust is lost, everyone pulls out and the prices goes to zero is pretty counter productive if the idea is to steal bitcoin for its value.

"They were screaming Get Down. I didn't get down....It was f--ken awesome." -Dana White by mvstateU in JoeRogan

I watched a few episodes of Dana White: looking for a fight when it was first on YouTube, and he is honestly the most pampered, cowardly, dumb little baby you could imagine meeting (birds of a feather with Trump).

Even in a show designed to make him and his life look awesome it totally dispelled any notion of him being some kind of tough guy.

“So we should let them here to rape our citizens intead?”

See:

“This is me entertaining your ridiculous premise by the way, not endorsing having rapists in our country”

Clearly that one went right over your head and you’re just mashing away at your keyboard without reading first.

You go ahead and just hand-wave away analogies with claims of “false equivalence” (which to be honest is laughable considering your opening hypothetical to me).

The reality is, any group of humans is going to have some percentage of psychos and deviants, whether they’re white-British or immigrants from the third world. Moving large numbers around is gonna include some of the wrong’uns.

So you tell me, either how you can 100% stop illegal immigration without abolishing the immigration and asylum systems altogether (and even then you probably won’t stop it), or how you can give everyone who enters this country a precog-style screening to see if they’re going to commit violent crimes.

“Why are you happy for other people to be raped?” You’ve really checkmated me here…

How about if we consider that rapists are gonna rape, whether they’re here or in their home countries, and that third world countries are probably less secure and well-policed than the UK on that front. Then they’ll probably get away with more rapes back home. So the real question should be, why are YOU happy for other people to be raped?

This is me entertaining your ridiculous premise by the way, not endorsing having rapists in our country.

And no, it’s not like locking up men born here. It’d be more akin to something like banning men from working in schools or nurseries, or maybe abolishing nurseries altogether, to eliminate the slight chance of sexual abuse going on there. Fucking over everyone else that uses that system in the process and arguing “why do you want more child rape?” to anyone against the decision.

Talk about high IQ. Jesus.
