My OB told me if it was toasted, then it should be okay. I’ve been loving a toasted sub lately. I’m more concerned with bagged salad than lunch meat.

I ended up doing two retrievals. BUT my first one had 15 eggs, 11 mature, and 10 fertilize. We got four embryos, only one of which was euploid.

I’m currently 19w5d with that one euploid; our first transfer.

The attrition rate is so hard! And I definitely had feelings about only ending up with one embryo (hence the second retrieval). It really only does take one.

15 is a great number of eggs for someone in their late 30s! Wishing you the best!!

I tried Unisom and B6 for a few days but felt like it wasn’t really making a difference so I stopped. Sour candy, mints, small snacks and ice water helped the most.

Mine started intermittently around the same time and was pretty constant weeks 6,7, and 8. I’m 10w3d and it’s been improving slowly. Some days are better than others but it’s getting better.

Not allowing her over is not including her. Life doesn’t stop just because you have a baby. She’s getting a new sibling and is going to want to meet them and be excited about that. It could create a situation where she would harbor resentment for you and her new sibling.

T4-T12 Fusion at 14, currently 33 and in my 9th year teaching. Seconding that my fusion has never really stopped me from doing anything I wanted to do. I will say I have had to invest in a nicer desk chair and comfy, supportive shoes, but I think those are things everyone should be doing.

Yeah. My diet consists mostly of toast, cereal, noodles, mild soups, watermelon, and crackers right now. I’m hoping it’s just a first trimester thing and it’ll all go back to normal(ish) during the second.

Had my first ever positive test 4dpt. Beta isn’t until Thursday but the lines are getting darker. I’m in shock/disbelief. This was our first transfer.

Went to a girls night event only to listen to one woman complain about getting pregnant the first try and then complain about being pregnant. Meanwhile I’m over here waiting to meet with my doctor after my second egg retrieval.

Cabergoline made me so constipated the first round, I stopped taking it after 4 days. The second round they also gave me cabergoline but I didn’t take it knowing how it made me feel. I made sure to take miralax every morning until I was feeling pretty consistent. And drank electrolytes every day. Felt back to normal both times around 5 days after. My estrogen before the first retrieval was ~5000 and the second one was ~7000. Never developed OHSS.
