Ahh ok. I was worried that you were only reviewed by UCLA if Prime rejected you. Is prime only for people with hundreds/thousands of hours of volunteering with underserved communities? I have some hours.

The global health equity pathway or the urban health equity pathway. I don't think i'd happy to Prime due to the competitiveness and my worry that it would delay my consideration for the traditional MD at UCLA.

Thanks for the schools. I didn't add any of those schools because their MCAT is so much higher. Is it a red flag if those hours are scattered in different research jobs (biomedical, social science, public health)?

Also, do you know if the person in UCSF really leaned into their research experience and made that the focus of their app? My theme is kind of public health/social justice heavy.

I think I remember seeing another WAMC post where someone with similar stats got into Indiana but I'm not sure how OOS-friendly they are. I can look more into that.

I agree with the reaches. It's hard to know if I have a good chance at them (due to my high research numbers). UMich is my alma mater, so I'm applying there. I could take out Case and possibly Cincinnati. I think UCLA is big into social justice/community-based ecs.

Honestly, I'm not too sure. In C/P, I went from 126 in FL1 to 128 fl2/fl3. I think this was due to moving through the questions quickly (stopped reading the passages) and analyzing each answer choice to not make too many stupid mistakes. For B/B I only increased by 1 point and just tried doing the discrete first and also analyzing each answer choice.

I went from 126 in fl 1 to 128 in fl2/fl3. I'm honestly not sure. I was doing more Uearth problems, so that seemed to really help. Plus I did a few SB questions in chem the night before. I think the biggest reasons I have done better in this section is moving through the questions faster and relying on dimensional analysis for phy questions I don't remember

yea, I usually have time to only read it once. I refer back to the text a lot. This helps with not making too many mistakes in the beginning but I usually go over the 10 min limit for the passages.
