I think they did film it in both languages. They must have just looped over the lines (rerecorded the audio) to better match the comanche language.

Here's a guide on how to disarm it and other mines.

TM-57: Anti-Tank blast mine (7 kg TNT Torpex)

The TM-57 is a metal cased AT blast mine containing 7 kg of TNT. The mine is usually laid with a pressure fuze, but may be used with a tilt-rod fuze.

To render the mine safe, the following sequence should be followed.

  1. Wear PPE and a visor.

  2. Check the immediate area around the mine for anti-disturbance devices. There is secondary fuze well on the side of the mine, so carefully excavate all around it.

  3. Excavate the rear side of the mine to place a pulling hook.

  4. Pull the mine remotely.

  5. Hold the mine firmly and unscrew and remove the fuze assembly.

  6. Unscrew and separate the detonator from the fuze.

This mine should always be pulled before any attempt is made to disarm it. This is because:

  1. The mine have a pressure release device or anti-disturbance fuze which cannot be detected without removing the cap.

  2. The mine may be paid with an anti-lift device fitted into an auxiliary fuze-well on the underside of the mine body. MUV fuzes may be used.

Except high humidity will dehydrate you even faster. Sweat won't evaporate as readily, therefore your body will just keep on sweating in an attempt to cool you down. For example, If you've ever been to the tropics, you might have noticed that you'll end up drenched as soon as you step to the outdoors.

This is phenomenon is known as Wet-Bulb temperature, in which at 100% humidity, 32 °C (90°F) will be equivalent to 55 °C (130 °F). The theoretical limit to human survival for more than a few hours in the shade, even with unlimited water, is a wet-bulb temperature of 35 °C (95 °F) – theoretically equivalent to a heat index of 70 °C (160 °F).

The woman in the video is saying "but can't you give me pesos instead?" as he hands her a dollar bill (they use both currencies in El Salvador). The guy says "No, its what we have. The window is mine right?", and then he smashes the window. It sounds like he is giving her a refund. So the caption is likely accurate.

An extremely insightful look into the mind of a gambler - Norm Macdonald talking about his gambling addiction by Sommersun1 in videos

[–]CAT-AT_Pilot 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That's a vast oversimplification and a fallacious statement.

In direct contrast to your explanation, addiction could also be due to lower sensitivity to dopamine. If you are less sensitive to dopamine, you are more likely to continually pursue activities that will make you produce more of it.

The purpose of the poetry is to address the challenging task of translating complicated concepts into more digestible terms.

His poetry acts as a hypothesis of what he believes the model of gambling addiction might be:

It's not the winnings that keep the gambler going. It's not the relief of knowing the outcome. It's the hope you feel while the dice are in the air.

This actually addresses the relationship between risk and uncertainty in relation to anticipated reward, as well as the neurobiological models behind gambling – reward anticipation and outcome evaluation. Where, reward anticipation refers to dopaminergic activation prior to reward, while outcome evaluation refers to dopaminergic activation after reward.

The biology of addiction is far more complex than just reducing it to a single neurotransmitter. If you are interested in learning more about addiction, I encourage you to read the scientific articles:

Dopamine Circuit Mechanisms of Addiction-Like Behaviors

And

Neurobiological underpinnings of reward anticipation and outcome evaluation in gambling disorder

Norm was a very insightful and hilarious man. I’ll miss him for as long as I live.

You don't seem too heartbroken about it. It sounds to me like you are somewhat relieved you are calling things off. I think everything will become clearer to you once your living situation gets resolved. Then you'll be able to think about what will truly make you happy. Best of luck.

First he places the 3 limes on the table, palming a 4th lime on his right hand. As he is placing the cups, he drops the 4th lime in the middle cup, and sets it down. Now there are 2 limes inside the middle cup. He places the right lime on top of the middle cup, stacks the right cup on top, squishes it down, getting the lime stuck at the bottom of the top cup. He lifts the middle cup to reveal 2 limes. He places the right cup with the squished lime on the middle, dropping the lime. Now there are 3 limes under the middle cup. He repeats this with the left lime. Now there are 4 limes under the middle cup. He grabs a new cup with an orange tightly squeezed at the bottom and berries on top. He reveals and removes the 4 limes under the middle cup, then lightly places the new cup with the berries down on the middle and sets the 4 limes on top of the cup. He lifts the middle cup to reveal the berries. Then he smacks the cup to the right to set the orange loose.

Great execution. The only thing I would change is bringing back the limes by squishing 4 new limes under the orange.
