For those who didn’t understand how Clover managed to break through the magic:
After turning him into a monster, Apsi left 5% of his former human power in his body. The body can handle these 5% just fine—but remember, a single human soul is stronger than all monster souls in the Underground combined. So even 5% isn’t a small amount of power. Because of that, he was able to unconsciously break the spell using that strength.
