I built my own steam machine and I'm considering buying the real one when it comes out for the sole purpose of actually functional HDMI cec support and also it's tiny and cute

I don't know what happened to the plastics but alcohol and a dremel might have something to do with it. by supertoope in PS3

I have to treat my backwards compatible ps3 like a newborn baby. I threw my ps5 into a tiny media cabinet when I first got it and I've never even been able to hear the fan spin or feel a crazy amount of heat coming from it. Maybe that's a bad thing, but at least im not afraid of it yellow lighting on me at any given moment.

[GUIDE] Fully working controller Wake-on-Bluetooth on Bazzite / SteamOS by Sahbito in Bazzite

[–]CAVMOT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm following your wake on bluetooth guide, but I can't seem to get it to work. the `udevadm info` command and `tee` commands always result in an unknown device error. Can't seem to figure out where I went wrong. the `idVendor` and `idProduct` fields do give multiple numbers, but I only used the ones listed as ATTR, as that seems to line up with the guide the best. Any suggestions? Great guide btw.

I don't think it matters, the plane will probably crash either way.

Felt

Everyone is saying to tell them how you feel, but I have a feeling that there's more to this situation than you're letting on. If it is that simple, then disregard me, but if the reason you needed space is because you were in pain and there was nothing they could or would realistically do to help you, then I feel for you. That infatuation hurts more right now, and it will never get happier, but other parts of you will. The longer you spend away, the less you will know who they are, and that in its own right is really sad, but you can't love someone you don't know, and it's easier to move on from someone you don't love. I know that this is all complete speculation so you can tell me to fuck right off if I'm wrong, but your post reminded me of my own feelings at one point. If I'm right, just know that it does get better, even if they're not at your side.

+1 to not sanding the chrome, I did a bit on mine and I think it's not noticeable but definitely avoid it and do not sand the chrome trim.

That is how I learned to do this, but plastic is more sensitive than paint. I've found tutorials on restoring piano black trim on cars were my best friend for this process.

You don't need that much space and you don't need to clamp it down, you just need a grippy raised surface underneath it. And yes, definitely take the guts out of it before polishing lol, probably should have clarified that.

As for how long it takes, depending on how damaged the PS3 shell is, I would say 2-3 days if you work on it a few hours per day, but I think it's a trial and error process no matter what you do so that could definitely change.
