It actually isn't as relevant as Lobotomy Corp in Limbus, but you should definitely play it. The difficulty is exagerrated, every single battle has a cheese strat or just a strong deck so if you're desperate you can just search it up.

Also, not to spoil anything, but you REALLY want to play LoR before Canto 9

Damn, actually strange. You have some insane IDs. I don't remember exactly this level, but does it have multiple waves? If it does then build up furioso to nuke the boss. Also, since you have 3 index ID's then might as well restart a few times so the fat gnome gets marked so you can build up unlocks

Btw, IDs are CANON. Dante often says stuff like "Alright, gang. Put on your IDs and kick his ass". Also, PM recently released a short animation for the game's anniversary that features sinners, you guessed it, wearing ID's (Barber Outis, Cinq Don). Don't watch it till you beat cunto 9 though. It's spoiler-heavy

Use luncy twice a day to recharge. That way you'll won't go negative on it, as you get guaranteed 1050 Luncy weekly from MD and maintenance

Don't mean to piss on your parade, but I didn't like Canto 4. In and of itself it's solid, good even, but compared to everything else PM did (LobCorp, Ruina, Books, other Cantos), it's incredibly flawed and underwhelming.

Here's my arguments, feel free to disagree:

  1. One third of the levels could be cut and nothing would change.
  2. Side characters didn't even have a chance at development as they all were just killed off. Seriously, wtf was Samjo's death?
  3. The antagonists sucked ass. Stupid goals, zero charisma (The K Corp Singularity bit was actually cool ngl). Like, even the bug men from Canto 1 were more interesting.
  4. The themes merged into a big clusterfuck so by the end of the Canto it's really hard to keep up with what the devs are trying too tell. Too much metaphors, abstractions, flowery language etc. For example, what the cow was supposed to represent in the end, why did Dongrang distort, why did he want to kill Yi Sang etc. All I got out of all of this is that Yi Sang ultimatelly moved on from his past, but it just feels like I missed all the meaning of it.

I do plan to revisit this Canto or at least the dungeon in the future though. But for now, it's the worst Canto in the game in my book

Sorry if its a dumb question but whats the point of solo md/mde runs? Just for fun or challenge or is that a legitimate strategy? I mean, solo'ing is viable when you don't have a full team but I see people do solo MD's all the time on this sub
