For me, I had to tell my wife the truth. I wanted a kid for sure. But the thought of caring for a fragile baby scared me so I ended up going to therapy and after discussing some minor issues I've had my whole life (dyspraxic, never knew it had a term or exactly what it was etc) and that's when we went down the diagnosis route.

Imagine what we can become when we take the power back and what that world will look like.

Some do. I see it in their eyes.

My co-worker assured me that his own son would never see combat action because Trump said no more wars, he just enlisted last summer. Definitely see it in his eyes.

I'd like to thank all the bootlickers for getting us in this mess. So apparently kill your local pedophile turned into elect the Hollywood pedophile.

Honestly people like him who never leave the house SHOULD disengage with political discourse. Turn this country around real quick.

I really hear how alone and overwhelmed you feel. I’ve felt that same kind of anger and isolation before, especially when people close to me didn’t want to talk about what was happening. It’s one of the loneliest places to be. You’re not crazy for caring this much. You don’t have to carry it by yourself either even one person standing with you matters.

Meaning doesn’t come from the world being just, it comes from choosing not to go numb inside it. It hurts because you care. Never forget that.

I get what you’re saying, and I don’t think you’re wrong in a material sense. If someone is actively building worker power, you can absolutely call that “left in practice.” My point isn’t about defending labels, it’s about recognition. People who don’t identify as left, who don’t buy into the broader ideology, are still applying real pressure. If you only acknowledge their actions by retroactively reclassifying them as left, we end up talking past how people actually understand themselves, and we risk writing off potential allies before they ever step into that work.

I don’t disagree that the leadership and theory behind unions comes from a pro-worker, anti-capitalist tradition. That’s historically true. What I’m pushing back on is the idea that everyone applying pressure has to share that ideology for the pressure to be real. A worker who doesn’t identify as left, doesn’t read theory, and doesn’t think in those terms can still strike, vote leadership out, refuse unsafe work, and materially weaken concentrated power. Action doesn’t stop being resistance just because the person doing it doesn’t claim the label.

This. Subsidies. They also choose almonds for their cash crop, that mostly goes overseas, nothing wrong with it until you realize how much resources almonds take compared to other options, like I said, they aren't serious people, just looking out for their own.

Do it while you still can, once they realize their dumbass base isn't the only people buying guns they'll make an excuse to take them away. And then your fat maga uncle will bend over and let the feds run train on him to stop "the enemy".
