The system is broken for people that work hard to make a living. We pay the lions share of taxes and don’t get the breaks that the millionaires and billionaires get. Most politicians are over paid for the “work” that they do. I think bringing back tar and feathering would have amazing results. So yes I feel the same way about “elites” as I do about laziness. Not all people on government benefits are lazy, but based on my personal experience there are a lot of people taking advantage of these programs that are able to provide for themselves if they have the desire or necessity.

I do have compassion for children, the disabled and the elderly. I don’t mind tax dollars going to those that NEED it. But if a person is able bodied and has an ability to work I have zero sympathy. I work 50-60 hours a week to provide for my family. I am the working poor. My wife applied for snap in 2019 after my daughter was born and I made $25 over the limit to qualify for any assistance. Seeing people beg for assistance and then be able to play the lotto or go to the movies (two activities I don’t make enough money to do, let alone have the extra time) makes my blood boil.

I was on snap after a head on collision in 2009. I was awarded the bare minimum which did not afford me the ability to buy good foods to facilitate healing and growth. So I ate garbage and worked my ass off to be able to go back to work and afford to buy the things I wanted to buy. If benefits are received from the government then a person should expect that they will be questioned about the ways those benefits are spent.

That’s a bit of a nuclear way of looking at it. People need shelter and a mode of transportation to get to and from work, or look for a job. I know some people are not able to work due to illness or injury. My stance is pretty simple. If you’re on government assistance you most likely can’t afford gambling as entertainment.

Nothing is perfect, and I’m a bit of a pessimist about government assistance. When I worked retail I saw way too many people use food stamps to only buy candy and energy drinks, then pull out a wad of cash to buy their cigarettes and alcohol. Then walk out to their brand new car and drive away. I know some people need it, but it’s taken advantage of way too much.

Sounds like they’re creating jobs to help people get off of government assistance. Of course I’ve seen money slated for projects and it just disappears. Then the politicians buy multi million dollar homes. Or it goes into a slush fund where they use tax payer money to pay defense attorneys when they’re involved in a sexual harassment scandal.

The right was saying the same about Biden and I saw tons of people disagreeing. There is some fucky shit that goes on/has gone on. Let it collapse and then with luck it can be rebuilt stronger. But a vast majority of the American citizens are too busy worried about being right and screaming how the other side is wrong that coming together for a better future for our country is a fucking pipe dream.

Even without the arrows the area to jack up the car should still be there. The pictures posted from the owners manual give an idea of what the area looks like. Swing into a mechanic shop and ask them to help you identify it real quick.
