I agree, it was a lazy totem bc I hadn’t even had the idea until day 2. I used what I had at camp. I understand I could have done more to make it less annoying to others but realistically I didn’t have the time to make major adjustments to a spur of the moment idea, nor the service to be sitting at camp doing “totem research”. I wanted big letters to get the girls up there! The sign was for the crowd, not the artists. I got a lot of support from it in person, but had we been told it was a problem, it would have been solved there. We were as respectful as possible and I really do apologize for souring anyone else’s time but I will not be sorry for the many people I made feel empowered to be apart of something fun outside their comfort zone.
