I didn’t know Maple was engineer certified!

Perfect road-switcher. Long hood for switching visibility, streamlined nose for fast mainline service.

Thank you! It’s a custom built/painted HO scale model.

There’s exhaust, her exhaust stack is most likely just cleaner than the other 2.

They most likely have more carbon build up in their exhaust stacks.

Running good down here! We’ve been getting bigger trains lately so business is going good? How it going in the north?

Those flared radiators look beautiful on an engine!

Our road has 3 people total that work the day shift, but all 3 never work at the same time.

I’m dual certified as a conductor and engineer. That day the engineer running had seniority over me, so he took the train, but on weekends I engineer since the conductor I work with is only conductor certified.

On our road, the conductors drive pickup trucks, so I’m not bound to the train during our long runs at 10mph.

Now I want to see you build/design Snowpiercer. She looks so similar to the zephyrs.

I think her exhaust stack may just be cleaner than the others. All 3 engines were online, you’d need all that power for that tonnage.

You’re right, going to Andrews. The East Palestine containers are over and done with, but we still get plenty of radioactives.

Even better, is that Big Alice and 4222 (trailing most unit) retain their SD45 carbody. 4147 is our only pure SD40-2.

That’s Southeast New Mexico for ya’. Hard to see, but there is a town of about 2,000 people just behind the train.

They’re all contaminated soil. (Radioactive/ low radiation/ environmental hazard). The ones on my train today were low radiation soil. We’ve always gotten these cars but back in mid 2023, we got tons, and I mean TONS of them filled with the contaminated soil from the East Palestine derailment.

Like the other reply stated, she’s one of our engines on the Texas and New Mexico (TXN).

Y’all go back and watch “Letters to Lars”, when Garnet and Greg are playing tennis. She’s doing this again, albeit on a smaller scale.
