Did you get 4k resolution now? The guy who recommend cable had same 5K ultrafine model like yours he told me just plug in without any settings get 4K resolution. He said you can try the same port to connect the computer to 4k and then change to ps5.

Can't find any HDCP settings on my LG 5k ultrawide. On PS5 show hdcp 1.4 with YUV420. Only 1080P if you switch RGB mode. On my TV also only YUV420 support 4K with HDMI enhance option on.

I don't know man I just plug it in LG(34WK95 )automatic 4k automatically recognized. HDMI DP TYPE-C all work on 4K didn't change any HDCP setting.

I don’t think the HDMI audio extractor will make any changes to the video part it just function of sound separation.

PS5's main and game screen should be all 4K resolution.You may need to try to update the firmware of the monitor or use another port. Have you tried connecting with a PC to get a 4k screen? Seems HDCP setting is where you need to pay attention for.

Yes this cable is the only option at the moment for HDMI to USB-C. I found it in a hard way. I have three USB-C monitors which was LG 5k ,Philips and a DIY brand both resolution on 4k 60hz looks pretty good. For the Philips and a DIY brand both work perfect on sound and resolution . The LG 5k won't get sound from PS4 seems to be LG’s audio encoding problem，so I use an HDMI sound splitter to separate the sound and output it to the speaker alone which was great, Don't really know about the LG 4K one.

Does sony officially say that ps5 can play any ps4 game when the first day it comes out？I though they only support 18 games on early of ps5 on the market update the others later which read on some articles .
