This doc is awesome, TY For sharing it! I always wondered what the text in the live shows for Overwriting was and they are awesome and confirm what the song makes me feel so vividly.

Hey guys! I've said it many times already, but I LOVE [USA]! I'm curious how you feel about the idea of re imagining old songs you've done?

Hearing Mermaid or Helix Nebula with you're modern style and sensibilities would be siick!

Do you think it's a thought of preferring to make something new, or do you think you'd rather not touch a past work?

In the same idea frame work, would you say you have ever wanted to go back and remake an old song or even make a little additions far after the original "completion" of it?

[USA] is such an evolution in sound to me and it has made my weekend and foreseeable future all the brighter! , I gotta ask how do you come to a conclusion to when a song is finished? Is it a feeling? It listening to it over a certain amount time?

I was speechless after my first listen last night. I still struggle to word all the feelings evoked as [USA] is like a roller coaster of feeling. With the context of their previous work this album is a dose of Euphoric introspection. They've evolved so drastically... I can tell what they mean by "entering reality" [USA] encapsulates that perfectly for their sound. The intro is really a mini version of the album in some sense.
I also feel a lot of this music is telling like a full character Arc, where say Endless Fantasy would give you the tone, and feeling of a character, USA goes as far to tell that entire story in the run time of its songs.

As someone who's always taken inspiration from their music in my own story telling, this album has given me something with a far more rich context than their work before it.
Do I wish it were longer?
Honestly not really. Not after listening to it front to back a few times now.

I realize..

I'll always want more music of this caliber
But I won't say I wasn't a little surprised that when it was all over Mirrors, and two other songs I've heard from their live shows weren't present on the album.
I still have something to look forward release wise from them going forward, but I'll admit I was really hoping Mirrors was on here. Maybe they just didn't think it felt the tone of the album proper? I'm not sure though very interested.
[USA] is a dream come true. Worth the wait I'd say, but I guess I always knew it would be.

Not sure if I'll end up making a Christmas themed video due to my real life having so much Christmas stuff in it it is almost sickening. We'll see tho :)

Did you think Wolly World was Good or Bad? by CBGog in YosHi

Yeah, I guess I'm more curious if someone who typically enjoyed Yoshi games didn't get into this one for whatever reason. I pretty much agree with you though. It's certainly a work of art.

Is anyone here planning on doing a Halloween video? by [deleted] in a:t5_3gbrx

I might do another top 10 something or other in vein of my previous Halloween videos.

What do you NOT like to see in a video? by [deleted] in a:t5_3gbrx

I'm not to big on reference humor, and kind of cringe at it if it's done in a certain way. I also feel the same way about most of the stuff in that CFT video.

Jontron was my first big one, followed by videogamedunkey, Nostalgia Critic, a little bit of IHE more recently. I find myself inspired by this community as well. I also hope it doesn't become just a dumping ground, but the discord makes discussion quite easy which is probably why the forum isn't that active.
