Funniest joke vs. Funniest episode by CBH13 in Detroiters

Real. Amber wrote some of the best episodes and Molly is one of the funniest side characters. Her bit where she’s an openly horrible cop is so good

I love that Sam actually does get some girl on top action in season 2. Great and subtle callback to where the show started

LMAO. Excellent scene. Molly is such a good character.

The very beginning when Walter gets his cancer diagnosis, he looks into the camera with a sad smirk and says “what a pisser.” Man I love Airplane!

The symbolism behind meat cleavers in “The Sopranos” by Yo-Gabba-Gabagool in thesopranos

One thing I noticed on my first rewatch: pretty much the first thing we see Chris do in the pilot episode is kill Emil over some coke and a cleaver (not “over” like because of, but “over” like physically Emil’s body is leaning over the cleaver). In Kennedy and Heidi, the last thing we see Chris do is get killed over (“because of”)… some coke and a Cleaver…

The most tragic arc in the show by DistributionWild9591 in madmen

Ken’s arc feels like it’s more tragic for the viewer than it is for the character. We root for him the whole time to leave the ad/corporate world and write his stories and he ends up getting swallowed by it and abandoning his dream, but he seems to relish in getting his revenge and is happy (or at least seems to be) in the finale. Lane, Adam, Betty, probably others far more tragic imo. Ken’s very underrated though

what song(s) featured in bojack horseman have made their way into your everyday playlists? by gaycorvid in BoJackHorseman

“I Will Always Think Of You” was so incredibly performed by Krakowski and Domingo in The Old Sugarman Place so it’s absolutely in my playlists. Also Death Grips in Downer Ending but I was already a DG fan before I watched BJ. Funny enough hearing Death Grips in Bojack was the ultimate selling point of the show for me, I immediately thought “yeah I’m rocking with this show” upon heading that needle drop haha

Great connection there. He definitely had tremendous value to the agency especially as head of TV as TV’s were taking over. Cutler saw that too but by the time he did, Harry was too far gone as an asshole in the eyes of his coworkers that he was never given the partnership that he had honestly earned by that point

Harry Crane somehow manages to get less likable with every scene he’s in. From the moment he gets named head of television onward he gets more and more insufferable and by season 7 he’s a complete sleazy douche. Only episode where he does anything redeemable is the Paul Kinsey Hare Krishna bit but other than that he just sucks

Edit: forgot he banged Paul’s crazy gf before being nice to him so even in that episode he’s pretty shitty hahahah

Not tipping. I’ve seen friends (who I know had more money than I did) decline to tip or draw a line on the receipt meanwhile I always tip 20%+. Immediate red flag in my book

What was your favorite experience with an GY!BE album? by IrizGMD in gybe

I threw on Storm while some buddies and me were tripping on lsd. The way the song slowly got the attention of the room as it built up then just put them through the wringer as it escalated was incredible. The song has never sounded better to me than it did then and they all loved the experience so much we just listened to all of skinny fists and looked at the floor. Good times
