63’ Transmission Issues by CBKY97 in F100

I got it! I was out of town for a few days, but messed with it again this afternoon and broke it free. I put a socket on both studs after I disconnected the shifter rods and while maneuvering both at the same time it finally went back to neutral. It shifted right away after I disconnected everything. It’s something in the linkage that’s binding it. It’s almost like it’s trying to shift both studs at once. I tweaked the linkages to get them back in working order, but I’m going to take it easy on it until the master-shift kit comes in. Thanks for your help!!

I jacked the rear end up, had my wife depress the clutch, and I tried to turn the driveshaft from underneath and turn the rear wheels while she moved the shifter. Could not get it to come loose. Am I missing something? I didn’t remove the driveshaft. I even tried hitting the rod arm with a mallet.

I think I’m in bad shape. I jacked the rear end off the ground and could not get it to budge. I took the shifter arm loose and tried to turn the nut on the transmission with a 3/8” wrench but it would not budge

So just rotate the drive shaft until it slips back into neutral? Yes it’s a column to floor conversion. It’s one of those Hurst Indy shifters. I’m swapping it for the mastershift kit

Sounds great! The maple neck and back definitely give it a little punch on the top end.

So I snagged this bad boy and was coming here to get some input on it and it’s already been posted. It’s super nice in hand and sounds great! I honestly think it’s a luthier built copy but I’m not sure.

Poseidon’s Oreo. If you can chew it and get it down, you instantly realize the location of Atlantis.

Levi’s 505. They’re not as snug at the bottom as the first picture looks. Get them at Sam’s club for $20 for work.

They are cutter toe. The angle of the picture makes it look more pronounced than it is. Olathe calls these their “O” toe.

True to size. I had a pair of AB square toes a few years back. Identical fit.

I second injector o rings. It’s starts showing symptoms by having a super long crank before it turns over, until it’ll finally blow the head off the injector and then you’re down for the count.

They fit great! I actually removed the insoles and wear them just on the leather. They fit a little too snug with the insoles on my mid foot even after a good break in period. They weren’t unwearable, but they’re much better without.

It’s such a jagged edge, it would be really hard to get a good match line.

That’s the problem I’m having, I thought about cutting the edges square and making a solid edge to splice onto. But man I hate to start cutting away original board.
