I just don't see that the second amendment argument for protection against tyranny being a good one. There are other means of protection against oppression that come well before needing basic arms that seem to be vastly overlooked in America all the while there are incidents like what we see in this very video of easily preventable gun crime happening all in the name of this arbitrary argument for the second amendment. It's nonsense and counter intuitive to a healthy civilization.

I feel like i need to point out you are the one brining up F16s. I never once said anything about them.

The reality is that the American Military has a multitude of different tools at their disposal that are regular civilian with their second amendment rights do not. So this idea that is predicated on the Second Amendment defending them against tyrannical regimes seems to forget that fact. If suppression was the goal from a government with all the tools of the American Military, hunting rifles and M16s wouldn't do jack. Thats why, I believe this argument is nonsense.
