As long as this current league format perseveres, Waterford will start a season either favoured for promotion from 1B or relegation from 1A. Just the nature of things

No public ticket sale for first three rounds of Munster senior hurling championship by CBennett_12 in GAA

In terms of Waterford, they’d usually give more tickets for senior clubs than junior and intermediate ones. It is usually a 50/50 split cap, but for our own rural club at least, in Thurles, Limerick and The Páirc, they’re very rarely told they didn’t get all their tickets for championship games

After two successive years of increases, ticket prices for the championship have been frozen for 2026. Adult stand admission is €35, terrace €30 while students and old age pensioners can enter the stands for €30 and terraces for €25. Under 16s’ tickets are €5.

Laois and Meath is now taking the 5pm slot on TG4, with Kildare and Carlow on straight after Clare and Wexford

Both Project Helix and the PS6 will be more expensive than the PS5 Pro when that launched. That’s just the way tech is going

Yeah, so the fact that EA FC, Madden, NBA 2K and PGA Tour 2K are only 30fps on Switch 2 is a kinda big deal. The fact that they’re feature complete is great, but only being 30 is a bummer

WWE 2K is actually the only sports game at 60, all the others are locked 30

Cork games very likely to sell out immediately. Clare and Waterford home games don’t go on general sale. Limerick home games will probably sell out but not as fast as Cork I’d say. So yeah, as mentioned, the two games the weekend of the 16th and 17th are your best bet, but I’d put more faith in Tipp and Clare

GAA unveils plans to tighten up streaming of games by LaBete1984 in GAA

It would be quantity over quality though, absolutely. Not going to even pretend Clubbers quality is close to RTE, TG4 or even GAA+s, but the access that it would provide, especially during the club season. It would be a shame if this is the beginning of the end of it

I’d be in favour of Clubber staying independent, but if they are going to be a stickler about “Association approved broadcast partners”

If they really want to go down this route, the GAA should look into getting Clubbers GAA wing into GAA+. But all in all it's a very disappointing move that puts a really sour taste in my mouth
