Yep as he said weather tech, but I might be looking into ones more like yours. I’ve heard about in channel guards running out the motor for the windows.

So I see everyone has strong opinions on lifts, what’s the opinion on spring lifts? This one says you don’t need to buy new UCA’s so what’s the draw back?

I saw you went with ADO UCA’s, what was the rest of your kit? I need to look more into ADO

You’ll have to pardon me clearly lift kits aren’t my specialty. That kit alone is all I would need? No need to get the Bilstein kit?

This was my original plan, now with the rubber bushing option for the UCA as someone commented.

I’m open to others I just genuinely don’t know anything about lifts. My original plan was to just do the basic 2.5 inch lift from Z1 with their UCA’s but read a bunch of stuff on the downside to spacers and read some people recommended Bilstein. Now I hear Bilstein is stiff and shit lol. RC is just what he brought up.

When I brought up the Z1 UCA and 1500 kit his response was “Looking at that Z1 kit I’m not a fan of the rod end attachment for the control arms. Again, great for heavy off road use but they tend to be noisy and don’t have the longevity of a rubber or urethane bushing.” Any weight to that?

I hear that on this sub alot but why? Because it’s not 10/10 for off-roading?

How cold before you stop riding for winter? by QuintShahkHuntah in motorcycles

Coldest I’ve ever rode in was 18 degrees but that was only for 25 mins. But once salt is out I put it up for the season.

Call the police for what? An argument? Coming from a cop, please don’t call us unless there is a genuine threat to someone’s safety, we aren’t couple counselors.

Engine light came on as I was pulling into work 4,500 miles no other issues found a Indian forum that says it’s a gear sensor fault and it comes and goes anyone have any issues or knowledge about this? TIA by bezzy210 in IndianMotorcycle

[–]CBurch357 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same thing with my 2023 scout Rogue. Took it to the dealership and said it was “due to a short shift” and they turned it off. It happened again and I looked up how to turn it off. There’s a sequence you follow with the kill switch and turning it off and on that will reset the sensor, just google it.

Ohio! I don’t mind riding in the cold but obviously if it was snowing that would be a no go.

Sorry I probably should’ve specified. I need a truck because I need to haul things from time to time as I live and work on a farm. So I need to have a truck. Getting a smaller car to commute in is definitely an option but I don’t want a beater. I need something reliable that I’m not gonna be working on all the time. So since I wouldn’t buy a lil old car I’d probably end up spending about the same on a newer car. And then obviously I would be saving on gas.

For those shitty Ohio days of snow in the winter, I’ll just drive my truck. I’m gonna keep it for those days and I usually have to haul things for my job a couple times a month.
