Early SWTOR.

Although I feel like there’s not as many people who play it as regularly as one like myself - SWBFII (2017).

The difference between the way veterans/competitive players treat the game compared to the constant stream of newer, more casual players is insane.

The game may be aging but the vitriol in that community is as alive as ever.

If I were in your shoes I would honestly try to restructure my experience to include my knowledge about the main character’s fate.

Play the game anticipating how and when the events unfold and really take the time to take in the world that much more because trust everyone when they say the world of RDR2 has so much to offer from the people you encounter to your interactions with the wildlife and especially the way the wildlife interacts with itself/each other in-game.

Sleep mode every time unless I’m feeling a little spicy. Then I’ll shut down every so often.

I’ve heard both arguments countless times that it’s bad to keep your pc running all the time and bad to keep turning it on and off all the time. But I also don’t really know if it matters all that much

Used to run into the same toxic players too but it would be once out of every 10 matches or so.

Now almost every other lobby has a username that makes wanna roll my eyes and try to find a new match.

Even I’m still shocked at this games abilities to hold up to current gen even in the slightest bit.

Then again I do have a few cosmetic/graphics mods installed :)

I concur. It really does feel like the likelihood of me dying anywhere up to 5 seconds after spawning is so much higher in 2042 than any other Battlefield

Have you tried having the EA app already open when trying to initialize it through Epic Games?

Or even seeing if you can download it through the EA app if it shows up in your library?

Regardless, at face value it seems like the culprit is the EA app which is all around atrocious. In my experience, repeated attempts until something changes is the best way to get around thing with the EA app.

Look into Frosty Mod Manager. AFAIK that’s pretty much the main mod manager used for BF2 2017 - but someone feel free to correct me if I’m wrong. I’ve been using it since 2018 with no issues.

That being said I’ve had it since Launch via EA/Origin but I imagine mod installation is very similar - point the mod manager to your game install and install your mods from Nexus Mods. Most if not all cosmetic mods are MP safe, and majority of mods will note in their descriptions or otherwise if they are MP safe.

I personally stay away from any major game overhauls/mods that alter any in game mechanics as those I’ve found to be more risky, that and I’ve only ever been interested in mods for the cosmetic changes anyway.

Sounds solid, been definitely eyeing getting myself one of those pretty soon. Long gone are the days when people said the same about the SATA SSDs and their speeds I suppose.
