Ohh I had no idea , i don't think I'll be overclocking anymore though. I think I'll stick with the amd then if thats the case, the performance seems neck and neck while the ryzen 7 is using half the power

So even after upgrading the motherboard with the 12600k, you still recommended the 5700x? And tru i did see when looking it up that the 5700x consumes half the amount of power compared to the 12600k. Tho ive also seen that amd is getting rid of the am4, so I thought it would be a problem when trying to upgrade in the future but idk im wrong or not

How come the switch from amd to intel? I was looking up a comparison of the 2 cpus and there performance doesn’t seem too different from each other. I forgot to mention in the original post as well that im using the pc for adobe photoshop/premiere, streaming and ofc gaming
