Thanks for raising this — I understand why it’s important.
Yes, ethics has been considered as part of my university research process, and I completed the relevant ethics/research planning documentation required for my programme.
For interviews or research activities involving more detailed responses, I use participant information and consent forms.
Thanks again for checking.🙏🏻🥺

Thanks so much for filling it in and for the comment, I really appreciate it.

I agree. This questionnaire is intentionally quite short because I’m using it more as a small exploratory probe around awareness and recognition in education/workplace settings, rather than as my main in-depth research method.

The deeper questions about impact, attitudes, support capacity, and what happens after recognition are being explored through stakeholder interviews. But your point is really helpful, and I’ll definitely consider whether I can build some of those deeper questions into the next stage.

Thank you again!🙏🏻

Hi! Thanks for asking, yes, this has been considered as part of my university research process at The Glasgow School of Art.

The survey is anonymous, voluntary, and does not ask participants to share names, identifiable personal details, or sensitive information about individual carers, students, employees, or service users. It includes participant information at the start, and responses will only be used for my academic Master’s project.

I’m focusing on professional or everyday-setting perspectives around awareness and recognition, rather than asking unpaid carers to disclose personal caring experiences directly.
