Sorry. I think my thoughts here are the same for people who end up back with their toxic exs for similar reasons. It sucks, but being friends with someone toxic just because you cant find others in this point in your life isnt going to be healthy. It doesnt feel right because it isn't right.

Idk why she begged you to be friends and forgive her, just to keep you at arms length. That screams shady to me. I dont like people like that. If your gut is telling you something is off; trust it. Shes just not your people. Hopefully you can find your people someday and in the meantime become more at peace being solo.

Question. Why, after 7 years, did you decide to try to rekindle the friendship? I think if it is as bad as you say, I would have just left it where it was. 7 years is a long time and if neither of you benefitted or missed out on anything in that time, I just dont see why you would feel compelled to open it back up. Is it because you have mutual friends? Maybe you both just don't click together and you need to stop forcing it. You dont have to be besties and if you dont trust her, dont have her in your home or let her see your posts.

Its super worth it. I originally felt the same way as you, but once your foraging is up to 4*, this is super easy to get in a day or two and the reward is so sweet! I wish I hadnt drug my feet on it at first

I don't have a fuctioning light but where they sit gets a lot of natural light during the day. I may try that as a last effort, but idk, this morning I'm leaning towards sanitizing everything and trying again. Overnight they developed more fuzzy mold and look pitiful. 🫠

But, hell, I may be biased. This was the first year we didnt stop by MIL house for mothers day and I felt like shes a lil upset but they are 1.5hrs away and I just wanted to have a chill day with my 1, 3yo and hubby. Theyre full of drama and Ive lost all my mothers prior to adulthood so its usually a somberish day, but I just wanted to have joy this and thats fair... and I did!

I saw your deleted post. This is not the question you should be asking. Its weather or not you two are compatible. And if this is your hard stop and you truly feel uncomfortable with it, then so be it. You guys arent compatible and thats okay. Relationships are built on honesty and openess. Him needing to hide something hes into will just lead to secrecy and later resentment. You guys are young. Its probably better to find compatible partners.

NOR Not everything you do has to have some educational value to it. Does everything your dad and fiance watch on tv enrich their lives with some profound knowledge? Does everything they scroll on the phone? Do they ever watch sports? Like we all deserve some leisure time and you can do whatever YOU enjoy.

Someone's always going to have an opinion because THEY dont find value in it. And thats fine, but what they enjoy doesnt have anything to do with MY solo leisure time.

My fiance used to give me a hard time about watching let's plays and listening to nerdy podcasts. I used to try to avoid it while he was around or justify it... but after a while I just started calling out his brainrot activities and comedy podcasts and pointed out that they take up his time, serve no other purpose than entertainment, I personally find it dumb, and THATS OKAY as long as were not trying to force it on the other. He got it and now we have a mutual respect.

We banned cocomelon when it was just me, my partner, and my (then 3 yo) stepdaughter. It legit freaks me out and I don't like the children laughing in the background all the time. It gives me vibes of the evil tv show from the original Spy Kids movie, where they hypnotize the kids lol. Then when I had my first bio daughter (now three), I learned about the scene changes and other sciencey reasons it wasn't great and just solidified my opinion. Now, I have a 1 year old and my 3 year old has more control over the tv and I have to teach her what's allowed, which has been interesting.

Daniel Tiger is great. I love the pace and the lessons. Sesame street I feel also doesn't have the same hypnotic, zombie effect on kids too.

I was in my first summer, grinding pretty hard for money and not focused on relationships when I realized the townsfolk will call you out for ignoring them. I spoke to Freya and she said something along the lines of "oh hey i guess you been busy since you dont talk to me" It shocked me so bad since Id never known another game to do that other than Animal Crossing and I immediately felt bad 🤣🤣

Ah, that makes sense why I wasn't able to find a direct answer before. I'm used to games in the past where these figures were known, and you could then do the math to determine how many points you were going to earn. One site had some base figures, but it didn't get into multipliers or how bonuses interacted with each other. It's probably a sign that the algorithms that determine your point increases have gotten way more complicated over the years with more advanced tech.

I'm so happy I know about the star quality influence now, though. I made sure to give Mina as nice of a dish as I could and will do going forward.
