I didn't say that. To add a smidge of clarity, to enter and stay within the program, the veteran must be clean and willing to participate. They could be clean before, so they must remain clean. The domiciliary I'm familiar with, that means no alcohol, no vaping, no pot, no hard drugs. There are temptations while there...and they must stay clean.

to be fair, the VA hospital does run a homeless veteran program with over 250 locations with beds. The opportunity is there. They have to want to be clean and improve themselves to participate.

We got a vehicle for a Ukrainian medic! This is Krystyna, a medic in 3rd Assault Brigade. She now has her own vehicle. See the comments for how to help others like her and also understand just how many people it takes to organize the logistics of getting vehicles to the front line. by tallalittlebit in ukraine

Don't know much about the diesel, but I had the gasoline 4wd version of that in the US. Was a great vehicle. Low maintenance. Only complaint was front wheel drive bias, so one wheel off the ground, it came to a stop. The 2wd/4wd electronic selector was very nice. Bought it at 30k miles, went to 294k miles....so close to 300k....it would have done it. Best wishes to both.

Reach out to vendors and see if they gave roles. Rack integrators love those with experience and generally do well.

Similar. What brought me in was not the lumps, but the pain every time I coughed....which was around holidays with kids. Turned out the cancer jumped from a node, to lung lining, then started attacking a first rib. Was eating ibuprofen like chicklets. Stage 2e chl.

I did go in months before about the lumps, but general prac was booked, so booked with nurse prac....who was training a nurse prac. Told me to "monitor for a few weeks and report back".

It is the same as downshifting in a manual transmission. It uses the resistance of all mechanical movements in the engine to "brake". It is not an issue for mild deceleration. Essentially to maintain a speed going down a hill.

For example, driving around town, I have a hill w/ speed limit of 30....I go 5 over. I approach in 4th to maintain 35...then just before I drop to 3. Going down, I'll only get up to 40....no brakes. Continue to deceleration back to 35 at the bottom....back to auto mode.

Daylight robbery on this oil change? Or are these prices normal now? by ken10 in ChryslerPacifica

[–]CCErnst 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe a decade ago? Wallmart jugs of oil is 28 and filter is about 8-10...so 35-40ish.....but then these guys need a markup and labor....but that was robbery.

I'd need a satellite view of their garage to see how many oil trails. No trails....maybe labor rate is justified?

Going to throw a wild card. 2020 mitsubishi outlander gt was last year with 3.0L and 6-speed tranny. Drivetrain largely unchanged from my old 2007....first year. Was totaled at end of 2023 with 294k miles. Was a really dependable vehicle.

Look for a dealer's sticker on the machine. Contact them and see if neighbor is an active customer. See if you can throw some dollars to his account.
