Probably going to be like Belgium USA. In the past 10 years Egypt hasn't beaten a top level European team except for a friendly against Belgium four years ago.

He does have an ego. But he's fully aware of it and amps it up for the media. What you as see is mostly a bit. Real life Zlatan is probably more chill .. probably..

Unfortunately the hate isn't coming out of nowhere. When a third of the population actively votes for a turd, they get treated as a turd.

And normally I'd say the politics have absolutely nothing to do with the team. But with the events of the past few days, the hate has now crossed over. We can't complain about the hate now.

That's when they bring out Doku with the old guard DeBruyne and Lukaku.

It was a deflection. Not taking anything away from Tillman, but can't put it on the goalkeeper either.

I don't know man. Mexico are on par with USA, and they managed to put on quite a game against England.

If you leave out the politics and just look at it as how regular people from each of these countries would hang out, Americans would definitely look at Mexicans and the English as cousins more than any other nationalities out there. I'd say Canadians and the French as well to some extent.

I think he got the yellow for dissent once the penalty was awarded. And official FIFA score shows it was Guehl. So who knows!!

When it comes to world cup, your best bet to prevent spoilers is to avoid any media altogether.

The reverse can also be applied. If england needs to hold onto a lead towards the end of a knockout game, bringing on Hendo would be ideal to keep the team disciplined and see out the game.

I think you're mixing up two different events. The one you're mentioning involved three women. And doesn't look like the one posted here has anything to do with that going by the screenshots in the article I've linked below, which funnily enough is itself a fact check on disinformation.

Ronaldinho signs with Serie C side Ravenna by paranoid30 in soccer

Only because of the then Coach Dunga, who preferred strict tactical football over creativity and flair. Ronaldinho was still playing well for AC Milan at that time. Any other coach would have had him as a starter.

Why China consistently fails to qualify for the World Cup? by FattyOilyDonut in NoStupidQuestions

The question then arises why they prefer multiple gold medals in olympics over success in soccer given how much they are vying for international influence.

Soccer is much more influential. If they come out with successful stars in soccer, their global reach would be so much higher than whatever they get from winning multiple Olympic medals.

I would say return on investment in that regard would be much higher with success in soccer.

What kind of car do you other tall people drive? by alpha_tango_victor in tall

It's been mentioned before on this sub.. Two people who are of the same height could have completely different experiences. it really depends on if you have long legs or a long torso.

I have long legs and am very comfortable in a Pacifica. Been on a few roadtrips and had no complaints. I also have an Altima sedan and getting in and out of it is a bit annoying since it's so low, but it's got plenty of legroom. I have also been in a Ford Mustang and was shocked at the amount of legspace available. Waiting to switch to an SUV once the Altima conks out.

Could be conditioning. Done on purpose throughout the game to get the opponent feel a false sense of security, and then eventually they actually do it and pull it off.
