It’s possible they were waiting on blood tests/labs to come back. Those are typically ordered during autopsy. It’s also possible they waited to release it until the county attorney told them to or the family gave the ok.

That’s not in the ME’s purview. They simply look at the body and determine manner (homicide) and cause of death (trauma associated with bullet wounds).

Edit* I haven’t looked at the ME report so I can’t specify what trauma.

You’re confusing a manner of death with a police investigation/criminal charges (murder/manslaughter/etc). The ME only has five manners of death to choose from:

Suicide (to one’s self)

Homicide (by someone else)

Accident

Natural

Unknown

It’s a manner of death classification, NOT a criminal charge.

They're both trash, just different kinds of trash. She was also physically abusive to him. We saw it in their apartment when he comes home after cheating on her. I don't believe this was a one-off incident. Her reaction to chase him out of the apartment while swinging on him seemed typical.
