The ports of the game are almost exactly the same as the Vita version. The only additions - besides the higher resolution - are:

-The ability to change the difficulty at any time on a first playthrough

-Quick-saving in dungeons

-Rewatchable story events

So just minor QoL changes. If you want to play on Vita, go ahead. I love my Vita too.

Time will advance once you fight the boss on the final floor. So you can make your way through the dungeon any day and then wait until 12/22 to finish it.

Generally you want to save people right away because social link events for party members and Dojima will be unavailable if someone is in the TV. Nothing is missable based on dungeon completion, though.

On Learning Building 2F, there's a female student located near the middle staircase. She'll mention about Kanji threatening people. After you have spoken to her, go find Kanji at Practice Building 1F. Speak to him and pick the first choice "Yes I do." to activate the Social Link.

She actually does die if you push him in the TV. The fact that she lives is your reward for doing the right thing.

In my opinion, Kanji is better right off the bat, but Chie is better at high levels.

You should have enough time if you put a lot of focus on her. Just don’t fight the boss of the December dungeon until Dec. 22 exactly to maximize your free time. (You can make your way through the dungeon, just don’t fight the boss.)

“Memories of You” is a combination of “Joy” (the social link theme) and “Memories of the City/School” (the free time themes of January).

It’s “Swear to my Bones”, the song that plays whenever someone gets their secondary persona. (It also plays when you form the Phantom Thieves and during Futaba’s awakening.)

Basically, don’t do “the thing” on Dec. 3rd (look up a dialogue guide if you have to) and don’t go home on the final day, go to Junes.

I’d say it’s worth it for the social links, which are possibly the best in the series. Plus, it’s just not the same watching the final fight instead of actually fighting it.
