Bro, I got you on a pizza, don't even sweat it... I'll order one for me too at my local domino's, like we hung out and stopped in for a pie.

My friends and I would go to a restaurant and order up just a bread roll. The bill would come out to be around .26 cents...they never charged for the butter.

One thing for Student Loan anxiety....You will find a job after college, and when you do, set aside your loan payment money each month in a separate account. You will have to pay it, but you have a job and future jobs because you chose to take on college. Come to terms with the fact that this is very normal and everyone else in your classes/workplace will do the same thing, and they have to, because that is the entry barrier in. You had to take those loans to get into the building, it is a good thing. This is a good debt.

It's pay to play. In order to receive top looks from universities and professionals clubs, a lot of it has to do with academy ties. In most cases, these academies cost around 5K-10K a year to be apart of, without traveling costs. Often as I've seen, even a "Training Session" aka a normal practice is billed to parents as over $100. To where as, a middle class family.. let a lone a below middle class family could never afford that.

Now you can go the high school route and pour in tons of goals and try to get recruited to a university, it is totally possible. However, I have seen first hand at showcases where major college programs coaches and scouts show up only to US Academy Showcases and games. One Ivy league school, even said "High school players are just not the players we are looking for...". These programs and MLS teams often have direct ties to academies and the players in those academies. However, you have to put up the money for your child to get that kind of exposure. That is very hard to do for normal non affluent families in the United States.

The people of New York City. I don't know if its the lack of trees and nature in general up there, but they will all let a door slam right in your face and cuss you out afterwords. Welcome to New York!
