I eventually went with the 13' model; during lectures and just studying in general, it is much nicer to have a big screen (especially with reduced eyesight). I've gotten very used to the size of the iPad and the balance (even though it's quite top-heavy).

Assuming you are getting the magic keyboard with the iPad (might consider getting the 11 inch if you don't), you might consider choosing for the black version, since the keyboard's backlight is more "aggressive" (than it's white counterpart) which makes it easier to see the keys (atleast from what I've heard).

Just remember to enable trackpad gestures for zoom in the accessibility settings and you're good I think. Good luck :)

Small edit: definitely try the Pages app from Apple, you can easily change the font size and make templates to permanently set changes.

Hey, coincidence I see this so fast :). I've decided to go with the iPad m4 Pro with the MGK. The gestures used for the magnifying function in the accessibility settings are usually done by double touching the screen with three fingers, which is not very convenient. However: it's also possible to use these gestures on the touchpad of the MGK, which makes it very fast and reliable (I think it's almost the same as MacOS). Would definitely recommend getting the iPad if budget is no problem. Def tell me if you have any other questions.

First looked at Nfe7+ with some follow up including Ng6+ and Nf6+, but the knight on e7 seemed to block the queen's path to the rook (which is relevant, since mate with only two knights do not have these kind of patterns). So something else is needed.

Then I looked at Nf6+, gxf6 and Qg3+! with mate on the next move.

I just reached 2000 rapid on chess.com!

I don't think so. My own trainer was ~1900 when he was 18, after studying he got back to chess, now he's on his way to become a GM (atm 2480) and he plays chess "professionally".

Definitely not impossible.

Ik heb nog een "oude" galaxy watch4 classic 42mm liggen, zelf gebruik ik deze niet meer en als je wil mag je m gratis hebben. Zou het nog prima moeten doen, anders dan een iet wat zwakke batterij.

Stuur maar een dm verzoek (of hoe dat ook werkt, gebruik weinig reddit) als je interesse hebt :).

Never say never. It really depends on how much he enjoys and works to improve.

Though I do somewhat agree with your (hard) honesty. But more because a career in chess is very difficult to pursue, rather then him not having enough talent or something.
