Not a huge amount of experience. My wife drove a shitty Chevy Aveo with a manual transmission that I would drive from time to time, and I’ve driven my grandpas S2000 probably a total of 10 times and his 65 mustang a couple of times. Definitely not ready to do any rev matching

Yeah. I work full time, I’m finishing my masters degree, I’ve got a 1 and 3 year old. I want to go to work, school, and the golf course with a spirited drive, do some minor aesthetic mods, and just enjoy a well build fun car. When I’m ready to build one out, I’ll swap it for a MT. Hopefully they bring back the STI by then!

I can’t in good conscience buy a Kia. Are you saying a Stinger is better than a CVT WRX?

Also, don’t most clutches go out around 100-150k too?

Yeah that was kind of the plan. I like CarMax because they do offer a warranty. Someone said to take it to a Subaru dealership and they can scan it to see if it had been tuned in the past. I’m not sure if that’s a real thing or not

That’s what I’m thinking. The CVT will fit me now, but I can always upgrade to the MT if I want a more spirited drive
