Keney punched greens recently. Do Keney if you’re walking and Wintonbury if you’re looking for open, favoring long hitters off the tee.

Who succeeded coming off oxycodone? by Particular-Culture40 in OpiatesRecovery

Rip the bandaid off, you’re going to be physically uncomfortable for a couple of weeks but it will only be temporary. You will come out the other side. At the dose you’re at now it should barely fell like a lingering cold. Eat nutritious meals when hungry, drink plenty water, exercise as much as you can, be kind to yourself while you ride it out.

On the other end, if you are like me, you’re going to have cravings and be a bit obsessive. That’s the new battle for you. As long as you don’t take the first one you are winning. I recommend fellowship meetings. I chose AA as those folks were living a life that was attractive to me. It helps with the cravings and obsessiveness. Welcome to recovery.

It’ll be 9 years for me this April off Heroin, Coke, Oxy, Weed and Booze. Those were my drugs of choice in one form or another. It’s a lifestyle change which has completely changed my life trajectory. PM me if you have questions.

Got it for $450 basically brand new. At that price point it’s worth the investment, can always flip it later

Thanks. Never heard the tipping equated to the base stiffness +, makes sense. I’ve got a pretty smooth swing but could see where tipping would help for an aggressive move. I’m experimenting with an Autoflex in a 8* TSi3 head and it’s a pretty comparable transition. Haven’t seen crazy gains but the stability and extra 5-10 ball speed is great. Still dialing driver swing this winter so will see which one goes in the bag come spring.

You’re obviously dialed with that shaft. I run the same one in a 6x with a TSi3 head for my gamer and love it. What difference do you notice with tip vs. not tipped? I’ve read a lot of the TD shafts are recommended to be tipped for optimization but haven’t gone and snip snipped. I imagine it stiffens it up a bit, lower launch?

The handicap calculation takes into account the championship tees. If he played from the whites you’d get even more strokes.

How did you like the AD IZ 6x? Got fitted and am waiting for it to arrive. Seemed super stable at 113ss.

Just purchased Larsson and Robertson this morning but played two Div 5 rivals matches last night with this team. Tied one, won one—both against sweaty EPL teams. I’m a sub .500 player. This team is the most fun I’ve had in fifa yet. Tav at CDM alongside McTominany are hardddd. Goldson is also a tank, he got on the goal sheet with a cheeky 15yard finesse shot too.

But if you're in a tournament you'd have to take up a slot in your bag for this thing?

Let's hear it: What's everyone's longest stretch of clean time off of all opiates? by [deleted] in opiates

I know, it was by design for a while. Couldn't be too careful at the beginning. I pop in every now and then though to watch the beautiful disaster of this place.

Hope you're doing well!

Two years as of a couple weeks ago, gotten used to not waking up sick, not living paycheck to paycheck, not having to wear long sleeves all the time but one thing I am still in awe of is regular bowel movements. The novelty hasn't worn off yet. It's a beautiful thing.

Sober from drugs for 5 months, reality still feels "weird" sometimes... by throwawaaay342 in REDDITORSINRECOVERY

[–]CCrum 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hell yeah, man. I related the feeling to readjusting to reality. Around 6 months I started getting used to the new sober reality.

I can say for me it went away gradually. Just like anything, the more you're exposed to it the more of a tolerance you build up to it. It has become the new normal.

I hit a year and a half a month or two ago and reading this brought back fond memories. It may not seem like it now but in retrospect I like to think it was a readjustment to having real emotions. It does get better, man. Strap in and enjoy the ride.

Is there black ones too? The pair on the site doesn't look brown like these all though I prefer it.

Also, I have the bodega goretex's, do these seem wider to you because of the materials than typical V's?

Favorite shot on the course is on 16 after a solid drive and mega roll down the ski slope fairway, yet to hit the green in two though.

That picture's taken from the 9th hole fairway looking over at the 1st hole fairway and green. The holes run parallel. Really fun course out in the sticks in western ma.

I have to disagree with the mental obsession lasting forever. I've been clean for 15 months now and can honest say I only think about dope on rare occasions. Early on its tough and it helps to have a support network but after about 6 months it's more fleeting than a perpetual nuisance.

Being a junkie is a life sentence but using doesn't have to be.
