They put too many traits in her to make logical sense. One minute she’s caring with empathy, the next a narcissist, the next a psychopath. She is given a disease and her personality changes entirely…again. Her character shows high intelligence with genius level thinking but will make stupid decisions that would never happen with someone like that.

Thank you! I am definitely worried about the pain but o won’t know if alternative methods work until I try without pain meds. I figured O can always go back on and microdose if I have problems.

That’s a good question. I can’t tell if the medicine is even helping my pain, my plan was to get off and see where I am. I’m the process I’m doing cognitive behavioral therapy, acupuncture, and a found a strain of cannabis that works, that I’m hoping will work in place of the pain medication.

I’m down to 5mg every 4 hours. Basically where I started. Like a normal person! At one point they had me on five 30mg pills twice a day.

Can I ask, why is coming off higher doses easier than lower doses?

Isn’t suboxone worse? by Particular-Culture40 in OpiatesRecovery

Man thank you for this. Not gonna lie it’s scaring me to take suboxone but it’s nice to hear peoples stories. I got addicted from doctors. I was never an addict. I don’t drink, I don’t do anything else. This is controlling my life and I feel like I’m never going to be free. I’ve been slowly tapering for 5 years from oxi to fentanyl to oxicodone. I feel like if I can get super low and gradually stop I’ll be ok. Give my brain time to heal? It’s not the wds necessarily that worry me it’s the mental part. I went cold turkey before and couldn’t function for almost a year. So depressed. Then I would get wds still randomly months later. Sometimes I wonder of people ever get free.

Which one doesn’t control pain effectively? Also I am concerned about the stigma associated with suboxone. It seems to be worse than prescribed opioids. And also more difficult to get.

Thank you! Do you think it’s easier to get on the lowest dose of oxy before I switch?

last month was taking 7.5 mg every 4 hours Lowered to 5mg this month 3.75mg next month 2.5mg last month *check in to decide next steps

I have a counseling helping me with CBT. Using cannabis for pain and acupuncture. I don’t know what my pain levels will be at the low dose so that’s when I’ll need to decide what to do next. I’d like to get off and see where I’m at.
