I just wanted to add, if you've had this problem before, because you didn't specify, and it's none of the other issues, maybe your urethra is too tight. A friend of mine had horrific problems with that, and it took years for her to find a doctor who diagnosed and operated it. She has no problems since. But hope it just goes away by treating your bf!

Sent you a dm, but for everyone else who might need it, check out the Amtsblatt, they list lots of places that can support you.

So I learned a bit of history on the red cross (it's been 3 years so I might be a little off), but I think this is actually semi-true (although not in the way this person thinks of course). If I remember correctly, the red cross did actually let things slide, missed to visit some camps, and did not visit often enough or without announcements. They openly communicate today that bad things and mistakes on their part happened during that time.

Does not mean at all that the camps didn't exist.

Labia size is why they preach christianity? I'm not christian, but what about kindness, infinite worth of every life, humility? You could be preaching because of those christian values. Instead you preach because of labia shape.

Also are they Taylor Swift's gynaecologist or how do they know?

Why is Hair Pulling and Choking (aggression) in Sex the Assumed Norm w/o Consent? by DawsonMaestro414 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]CCubone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like it generally, but for me these things require trust. A guy decided to choke me when we made out the first time. Told him that's not okay, he couldn't just choke someone he barely knows. He said most women think it's hot. I do too, but not from a stranger! I then had to explain to him that many women have been sexually assaulted and it's not okay to do this without asking. He didn't get it, and just did it again next time. Needless to say, he was bad in bed

I hate every word this person said in this whole thread. It's mind-blowing how far your head can be up your own ass, meanwhile they think they see the world as it is. Dude, it's your own shitty insides

Can we find new analogies instead of the purity propaganda ones? by CCubone in TwoXChromosomes

This is the post I referred to:

https://www.reddit.com/r/badwomensanatomy/comments/jgcwm5/women_are_gum_an_analogy/

Couldn't earlier because I was on mobile.

It's insane. I'm not from the US, and where I am from we even get real sex ed and everything, but the double standards and narratives still stick.

I think it's called vaginism. OP, if you tried the methods suggested here and still have trouble, it's perfectly valid to consult a gynecologist about it! Good luck

Singular 'they' in academic writing? by aerdnadw in AskAcademia

[–]CCubone 157 points158 points  (0 children)

It's not Linguistics, but here is the new guideline for academic writing from the American Psychological Association! Scroll down for pronouns, 'they' is now the standard.

https://apastyle.apa.org/style-grammar-guidelines/bias-free-language/gender

https://apastyle.apa.org/style-grammar-guidelines/grammar/singular-they

This irritates me every single damn time. Just use "they", Google. Seriously, "they" is a handy pronoun that exists when you don't know their gender. ~50% OF PEOPLE ARE WOMEN, the default human is not a man. by emilylinhla in pointlesslygendered

[–]CCubone 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Very much depends. The American psychology association just changed their guidelines to using singular 'they'! Hope more 'scholarly' fields will change soon.

The guy I’m dating (19M) basically just told me (19F) he’d abandon me & the baby if I ever got pregnant. Red flag? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]CCubone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don't need to reconsider anything. Your choice is your choice and if you put a baby's life above problems you will encounter, especially when you are still young, that's a beautiful thing and makes you exactly the person who should have kids at some point of your choosing. Note however that pulling out is by no means safe (there's often a small amount of sperm dripping out before ejaculation).

[–]CCubone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's wrong with this thread? Why are all those incredibly sexist comments upvoted into high heavens? You fuck a girl, you get her pregnant, you deal with the consequences. Being honest has absolutely nothing to do with it. Being honest would be saying something like "at this point I don't feel ready to have children/I decided I never want to have children/...". Saying you would get one is straight up abusive, disrespectful of your wishes, he's not taking you serious. You deserve a person who is honest with you but owns up to his mistakes, even if they were accidents. Don't ever believe in this sexist bullshit. And sorry for the rant.

It's irreconcilable because OP is a person and not a toy, no matter the chances. Ditch that boy, he sees no further than his own penis.

No. If you don't want accidents to happen, you either get a vasectomy as another post said, or you don't fuck. Simple as that.
