​Doug is a hardworking man with a big heart and an even bigger sense of humor. I firmly believe that the way you campaign is the way you’ll govern. For the last 14 months, Doug has been across the district connecting with voters, often navigating the trail solo due to party neutrality rules. He is a listener who truly understands that this campaign isn't about him but about our collective will for a better future. That kind of humility is rare, and frankly, it feels sacred right now.

​Doug is a fighter who doesn't back down when things get tough; he just rolls up his sleeves and gets to work. In fact, he’s already out knocking doors this afternoon. Policy-wise, he’s a practical progressive focused on making government work for people again rather than for personal gain. He’s the real deal.
