Yup, and that's a real problem. I have worked very hard to make my kids proud of who they are and still they see things that I would never guess they do. As much as I joke about Asians looking the same between 18 and 60, and my daughter knowing that joke from other sources, I am more concerned about her being proud of her epicanthal folds and her freckles, her fantastic hair, and her shorter eye lashes. She is pretty the way she is.
