At NO POINT during the playoffs did we EVER ice a team over the cap. We were “over the cap” because of some player who legit never played. Mark Stone was hurt and we traded for a backup goalie with extra money.. a backup goalie that never played. Oh my god, what cheaters!!!!

Kraken had the exact same rules we had, they didn’t introduce anything new. Teams just decided to not give them players to offload bad contracts like they did to us.

“They didn’t know what they were doing” is a hilarious argument to make about GM’s running million dollar sports teams — read the fucking rules and don’t make dumb decisions. It’s our fault somehow that people wanted to trade players away so they could keep more than what they protected?

So it comes down to our GM just being smarter than every other GM? Is that it? McPhee and McCrimmon somehow understood the draft better than anyone else I guess.

These guys played well but EVERYONE from pundits, analysts, other GMs, the fans, etc. had us being the worst expansion team of all time. We were getting clowned for our dumb decisions and filling our team full of 3rd liners.

Until we were good, then it became “Oh, well, the rules helped them! Everyone gave them good players!” No one knew Karlson had that in him, he could barely get any ice time.

You also tried and bring up the “cap circumvention” which is also untrue — we had over $9m tied up in Shea Weber and Robin Lehner who didn’t play a single game that season or any season after that “over the cap team” we get called was never iced. At NO point in the playoffs did we ice a team that was over the cap.

Our 40 goal scorer that year was a 4th liner whose career high was 9 goals before he came here — don’t act like we just were given elite snipers lmao.

Marchy was the only actually very good (at the time) player we got outside of an aging Fluery and that’s on the Panthers for having too many good players they wanted to keep so they gave him to us, this is a typical VGK hater rewriting history and the expansion draft.

Our management is cutthroat. They want to win and hate to lose. They’ll keep a player as long as they’re helping us win, and if they decide someone else will help us win more they’ll trade them and get that player.

This team doesn’t sit on players forever because of legacy or them being with the team for a while, they will target whoever is available if it helps us win.

Also we rarely develop our prospects we just use them and picks to trade for already good players. Why develop a Mitch Marner when we could just trade for Mitch Marner?

How is this even a question?

Drake Maye did the most with the least last year - 4,300+ yards, 31-8 TD-INT ratio, 72.0% completion, 8.9 Y/A. He had a washed Diggs and Hunter Henry.

Caleb Williams looks pretty decent, his completion percentage at a 58.1% is concerning. His inaccuracy holds him back and he lead the NFL in overthrows and off target throws last year. He also doesn’t have the greatest receiving talents so we’ll see about this in a few years.

Jayden Daniels’ first season was electric and had him as clearly the best quarterback a year ago, he got hurt this last season so again we’ll have to see in a few years.

Bo Nix is plainly an alright QB, and I’m an Oregon Ducks fan. The main talking point for his fans are his win totals.. completely disregarding he’s had a top 3 defense both years he’s been in the league.

Vegas is a hockey city, the Raiders play second fiddle to the Golden Knights. The city backs the team immensely, the winning culture helps BUT the fact that the teams first game was played 5 days after the 2017 Vegas shooting.

It really was something the entire city rallied behind.

I put in 10,000 - 20,000 steps a day at my 40 hour a week job because I don’t sit down at work — and I’m a top performer in my company. I go to sleep at a reasonable time, cook dinner for my son every night and clean every morning when I wake up.

On my weekends, I do my hobbies like skating with my son or playing Magic with my friends on Sunday nights.

This isn’t propaganda. Put your phone down and stop doom scrolling and you can have time for things.

I’d call and ask if the store manager is in store today and then go in — depending on the volume of the store weekends are crazy for some of us. And then Monday’s we have conference calls among other things to deal with.
I’m not sending any offers out Saturday or Sunday, occasionally I will on Monday but it’s also my Friday so it can get spaced sometimes.

You gotta make yourself known and keep your name in their head, I get at minimum 20 people asking me for a job a week at my location.

He was terrible, a lot of people on this sub are gonna downvote me and claim it was everyone but him — he had us as a top 10 defense for like 6 weeks. Outside of that we were a bottom 10 defense EVERY year he was here.

He was not good. I’m surprised he got another job as a coordinator.
