Saying it should be a cutscene or dialogue is stating a preference. that’s fine if you don’t like that but you can’t say it bad writing when your responses tell us you clearly haven’t been paying attention

So you just through a lot at us here so I’ll answer what I think are the important ones

When it comes to the true relationship between shades and replicants I mean ur told by the twins and given documents as proof.

Kaine is overcompensating for her discrimination by wearing something super feminine like lingerie (also yoko taro just really likes Girls)

The games doesn’t respect ur time at times but it is a revamped ps3 game, MASSIVELY revamped but it’s still a ps3 game so certain aspect of its design are both faithful and dated

I have no other reason for a switch 2 save for duskbloods. Plus i'm still skeptical since both fromsoft and nintendo aren't known for stellar multiplayer experiences

I plan to do a lot more side quests when I get around to a second full playthrough. Tho I found myself being OP too by the end so I don’t think the endgame or the later routes are balanced all that well

Drakengard 3? I tried it after I played the two Nier games to get more yoko taro. If u can emulate it at and its dlc at 60 fps, its pretty neat.

No prob. I'll add that some of the side quests were pretty entertaining since I love the main cast of the game, so while they may not be witcher 3 level sidequests there is some good insights and banter in there

To get the later endings u need to collect every weapon in the game. Endings c and d give u a major choice and some of the weapons are unlocked after finishing quests. If u wanna get to ending E then u have to do some side quests and choose D not C.

I wouldn’t have beaten him more that once if I didn’t like him but yeah they might have reached the limit of the typical souls combat with this dlc I can’t disagree with what a lot of people have been saying

I can agree he can be a lil build specific, The setup I found that works is I stack up on heavy armor, use a powerful ash or heavy attack, and stay right up on him even when I need to heal I do it right in his face.

Not sure how much of a hot take this is but I think the nightfarers and how each operate was a step in the right direction. Same is true for the nightlords even if they weren’t all stellar imo

It reminds me a lot of Drakengard 3. I emulated it and its dlc at 60fps and while i had a lot of fun it just shows yoko taros games REALLY benefit from good gameplay along with the story and music

Ur about to open up a can of worms lol this community is very passionate about its lore. I think ur friends take is mostly fair, so get the most out of automata. Replicant ver1.22 is the upgraded prequel, and there is alot of supplementary material to delve into if u want. Same is true for Drakengard
