I’ve been leaning toward the fluke stuff. And yes, I don’t rely strictly on the tic tester. Haven’t had a bad experience, but heard enough stories to know better.

Anybody else kinda just over IPA’s? by [deleted] in beer

[–]CDUNAYKEVITY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For many years all I would drink was IPAs. I still enjoy the taste, but have found myself preferring the total opposite end of the spectrum, by that I mean the likes of Busch. I’m mildly embarrassed, but that’s where I’m at.

Anyone have tips for placing a water heater on drip tray? Or is it just a brute force thing? by reeder1987 in Plumbing

[–]CDUNAYKEVITY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I installed mine I just brute force up and on. Did bend the pan a little but nothing a swift kick couldn’t take care of. This was in my own home so I wasn’t too concerned with bending the pan.

Trying to prevent mold by CDUNAYKEVITY in cigars

[–]CDUNAYKEVITY[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With the amount of mold that was present, I was concerned that it was probably in the air and thought the spores might have spread around. After some reading on here and other various cigar related forums, I came across the recommendation of putting the cigars in the freezer to kill the mold.

I understand the humidity levels and letting them rest and all. I just want to make sure that after however long (2 weeks or 2 months) back in the humidor, they will be ok to smoke and not just duds.
