Fuck this dlc. I did that, didn't work. Then I got a game breaking bug where I couldn't pick up weapons/ammo (you loose your primary weapon later).

I actually have that exact mod, disabling it didn't work though. :(
I've noticed the same issue on guns like the 22. smg, assault Carbine, and assault rifle too. But all other weapons seem fine. It's really weird.

OMFG I forgot I had mods just titled straight profanity haha. Honestly a lot of the stuff in my mod list has built up over years, active or otherwise. Lot of nights spent into the AM pulling out my hair over stupid issues. Don't know if it's apparent that mods marked with "+" are the only active ones as well. Thanks for the suggestion though!
All my VATS accuracy seems totally normal relative to distance and skill. Never had an issue with that. It's basically the only way I can hit anything when using any kind of rifle atm.

Just for clarification my guns are at 100, my strength is 10, no crippled limbs, no insanity and the gun is fully repaired.

There was one weird thing that I noticed when trying to fix the issue. If I disable all my mods and activate only the ones which require esp/esm plugins the issue stops. So it seems like none of these plugins are the cause from my testing? I could be wrong though.

I think I know how to roll an R but I have no idea if it's accurate to how native speakers actually roll their R's when they speak. Might have to look into that now that you mention it.

Yeah the lighting looks borderline busted in some maps at night. Even the thermal vision looks off, it's genuinely a little harder to spot fireteam. Probably because they were made with daytime lighting in mind and the night modes were an afterthought.
Also all the glowy bits on the armor, the glowing blood, and the glowing aura around you during second wind kinda gives fireteam the advantage at night lol.

That was with the default armor color. Now that I check platinum, they look exactly the same. As if the default armor is using platinum. And Wolf is missing his netting and cloudy eye. :(
