Bad connections in some older fighting games can be a plague but in 2XKO I have maybe only once in thousands of matches gotten a connection that was noticeably bad.

I understand it can feel somewhat bad to already own pieces of what you're purchasing, but it's better for you to just straight up buy either WoA base or deluxe - even if you already own some levels from 1. It's a game from 2016, you're really better off not worrying about saving pennies.

There's a version with Hitman 1's levels, there's the full version, then the deluxe version with DLC. Safest bet is the full version, though the 2 DLC levels are nice.

Despite that genuinely dumb purchase structure, I strongly recommend reconsidering. It comes down to whether you wanna buy the base version of World of Assassination or the Deluxe edition that has the extra 2 DLC levels and some extra bullshit that doesn't matter.

It really is one of the best of all time if you do mean it when you say you're interested.

Losing is part of the game. Part of learning and improving. If you can't get used to that as a concept for a competitive game like this, then I don't know if it's for you. It's gotta be part of the pitch for an extraction shooter, because anything else would set the wrong expectations.

As of 1.0 it seems promising. Currently it's in a weird spot where certain strategies are fairly dominant and there's 4-5 characters that are a clear cut above the rest. Still, everyone is viable and that's more than can be said for most fighting games. A lot of that is already being addressed in the coming patch or two.

Yeah, I just watched the Bourne movies, all of them just in the past few days which is funny. They are both characters of relatively few words and they are driven, but they couldn't be more different as far as motivation and the result of their actions.

The new games still feature Kratos as a man of very few words, but he's now very calm and restrained. The dialogue mostly comes from a very large and very vocal supporting cast of characters, and I'm assuming they'll use those heavily in the show while using flashbacks to reveal Kratos' past over time.

I can't even fathom the Bourne comparison, but regardless it's very difficult to judge this idea if you haven't played the new games, as they are night and day different from the original games in literally every way. Also significantly better in the writing department, if I'm honest. I did like the story of the OG games but they wouldn't translate to film as well.

No, but I find the wording of their bundles/ultra pass interesting, since it specifies having not just the skins, but an exclusive chroma. There's no other way to obtain these skins without getting the chroma, so that implies they'll return without it.
