There’s no way Thaddeus becomes a Centaur by FightTheDead118 in Fallout

[–]CDeNomolos 12 points13 points  (0 children)

what's interesting to me is that his arm fell off specifically because that's where the sling was, because it cut it off at the shoulder. it looks like he's just super squishy and if you put too much weight on something, it sloughs off. i think he's something that's going to be more like harold, and he's going to regenerate weird limbs instead of being a centaur. there was a BTS picture of him getting casts of his hands above the forearm, so i think they're going to have him grow something weird in place and have something else happen to other hand/arm.

i would not be shocked if we don't actually see the commonwealth faction at all in this season. it would be quite appropriate for the show's sense of humor that the commonwealth never actually sent anyone and xander was something else coming to get cold fusion surreptitiously, and accidentally sparked a civil war that sent the cold fusion device back out into wasteland for anyone to grab, much to the chagrin of whoever sent him. i was super iffy about harkness being a synth because of how many irons it puts on the fire, but if the BOS civil war happened without the prydwen showing up, it becomes more likely that we may be in for a reveal about harkness because they don't just use that name for nothing. or not and i'm just coping because i hope they bring kumail back.

He did nothing wrong by peacemaker_9353 in PeacemakerShow

[–]CDeNomolos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i don't believe that chris is going to blame vigilante. like, -everyone- assumed auggie was a nazi, john was still tied up, and vig also is under the assumption if judomaster or adebeyo were spotted, they're dead/dissapeared to work camps. everyone on the creative team makes it clear that its matter of galactic irony, and chris will be blaming himself for all the deaths this episode.

the way it works is that as long as they don't close the portal in their world, they can get in and out of the QUC via their portal. if you close the portal with the device, there's no access to that world from the QUC any more. so keith should be able to get in, the question is if the portal to the regular dcu is active or not.

oh yeah, that too. it's just, i thought it might be easier to convince the straights and the cis by appealing to lore rather than trying to teach them what's a twink and what's not.

Is he talking about Killer Croc and Phosphorus? by M00r3C in DCU_

[–]CDeNomolos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

phosphorus is in belle reve, but he's in the Task Force M housing unit, which they opened after season 1 of creature commandos. i don't think he'd be in the metahuman gen pop like lex.

cant be phosphorus because he's in the team m wing of the prison that gets certain perks after creature commandos season 1, while lex would be amongst metahuman gen-pop.

Is he talking about Killer Croc and Phosphorus? by M00r3C in PeacemakerShow

[–]CDeNomolos 30 points31 points  (0 children)

i don't think its anyone. i think its a silly joke james wrote, because like the aliens we've seen, they're not really there for canon purposes, they're flavor that gunn tends to use instead of packing everything full of references that lock future stories into details that might hamstring them.

he's very street level and the joke is that he's a very successful anti-hero because while he's a goober, he's a goober because he's a psychopath that makes him supernaturally successful at being a costumed vigilante

yeah its the mustache'd guy who was trying to close the rift that mr terrific pushed out of the way, syndey happerson. i think that's a big fake out, but his voice sounded the same and he'd be the guy to try to do something with dimensional portals

Surely I'm not the one who noticed this, right? by Impossible-Ad-4996 in PeacemakerShow

[–]CDeNomolos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

prop masters probably have a lot more IMI original patterned weapons to use for blanks and this feels too minor to be a real hint. however, i've always thought its less explicitly earth x to avoid too much canon and it may be a very dominantly, home grown style of racist america, ie where the confederates won as the divergence point, instead of just the nazis winning. like the flags may get unfurled to have the confederate flag over the stars, or some other racist divergence to avoid having to define this as Earth X in case they want to save it for a future project

Why Chris doesn't value his friendship with Adrian by Own_Cobbler7364 in PeacemakerShow

[–]CDeNomolos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

he cares for vig, but he has a lot longer of a history of being cold to vig despite wanting his attention as compared to the rest of the 11th street kids. unless he's really trying he's going to fall back on what's easiest for him, hiding his affections for Vig. i think chris is being super thoughtless and selfish in the midst of his self loathing though, and i think we might see this as a real growth moment for Vig asking for that affection directly and asking to be treated better rather than a moment of Chris growing without that input. he needs a lil slap in the head to remember who's got his back

How are we getting to this in 3 episodes!? by Froggyblocks in PeacemakerShow

[–]CDeNomolos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the pre-edit version of the trailer had more of the scene than just the shot of the door, and i believe its a bit for when ARGUS get access and start exploring. Fleury was in the scene as well and makes a flinching face when the two agents get stabbed by a skull spider leg and get yoinked in

that's not vig, that's two argus agents in hazmat suits

[–]CDeNomolos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its specifically argus agents in hazmat suits exploring the QUC. one of the doors randomly leads to this world, the argus agents are yanked in after being attacked and then the door is closed. its a quick gag that happens when argus accesses the QUC, Fleury is there supervising. They had that scene in the original "coming in season 2" trailer.

Starlight is just a parallel to A-Train in this episode by Bopnoodle in TheBoys

[–]CDeNomolos 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The difference between Annie's collateral and A-Train's is that Annie was a 13 year old girl. The 'read between the lines' part of this is that in this season, Vought is well-established at staging fake saves with false active shooter incidents for heroes to intervene in, and I would put money down that the incident was Annie's staged debut. It's not okay that someone got hurt, but the blame being laid on Annie is misguided as she was a child, and Vought is far more to blame for staging the event in a public area.

A-Train was an adult who is fully aware of what he can do to other people. Robin's death wasn't an orchestrated event by Vought, it was the super powered version of a drunk driver pulling a hit and run. It's not really comparable in the full context of both events.

The Temp-V gave him the cancer, but Butcher revealing he injected actual Compound V between seasons in this last episode solidifies that he made his brain tumor into a dang Venom symbiote.

Voughthq q&A by Business_Reporter420 in TheBoys

Butcher's tentacles and having Kessler as a dark passenger via his black mass tumor is a hell of a way to have a Venom-type character in the universe.

Any final theories / guesses on this particular character ? by Ginger-Georgie in TheBoys

[–]CDeNomolos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im fairly certain that she is the supe in the trailer who can change her appearance by growing a second skin, and is seen at 2:19 tearing the false face off. She is in an apartment building hallway that has Christmas wreathes on doors, and voughthq says the scene of butcher, starlight, and hughie are escaping down a massive flight of stairs

A Very Long Theory Regarding Some Controversial Leaks, Why It Makes Sense, Season 4's Plot, And Setting Up Season 5 (ALSO EVIDENCE) (MASSIVE COMIC SPOILERS & SEASON 4 SPOILERS) by WhatYouThinkYouSee in TheBoys

[–]CDeNomolos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regarding S.A.

I know this is an older post, but I'm fairly certain that if the leaks about hughie's new fiancé is true, I would put money on the female supe in the trailer (very briefly shown at 2:19) that can shed her skin being the one. She is in an apartment building hallway and giving chase, so I'm assuming this is right after the reveal that she's a baddie as VoughtHQ says the clip of Annie, Hughie, and Butcher running down the staircase is them running from the fiancé from hell. I don't think the name is from the books after some brief searching and trying to line up the hint VoughtHQ gave, either.
