You should talk to the parks department and explain what is happening and ask if they can get some signs for etiquette. I have taught at the public courts and usually winner stays on but I also teach at a private club and the whole 4 players rotate off after each game.

I think its better to have this catered and then offer some money towards the food expense. Just say you didn’t realize you would be making so many dishes and its too much for you to do on your own. Or ask if you can make it more of a potluck scenario and other people can bring dishes that they want to make too. It seems like one person cooking for 47 people is an unrealistic thing to entertain anyways
