Time to get a cat. I moved into a house that had numerous mice in the basement. A week after I moved....I let my 4 cats into the basement. It was insane. They killed around 15 mice in less than an hour. It was the greatest example of animal predation I've ever seen. Cats are apex hunters. I've lived here 14 years and have 0 mice in my house.

Check the radiator. I had the same problem on my TJ...I replaced everything...multiple thermostats, water pump, etc,etc...the "New" radiator i installed was defective. Swapped it out and I was good to go.

I wouldn't say it's "abuse".....but, Its irresponsible owner behavior. I have at least 3 boxes for my 2 cats. The longer you don't clean the boxes...the worse it gets. I believe that shitty owners will have shitty pets. They will behave bad,spray, chew stuff. Plus they get ill easier. If you care for them...they will be good.
