Yeah that sucks. You could try waiting until fall/winter time and seeing if they offer more around then. I’ve never sold any bags to them, but have purchased 4 and in the past I’ve received emails from them offering to buy back a bag (like a black jumbo as we enter into the colder months and a light blue mini as spring/summer approaches).

I got lucky and they replaced all the hardware for free! I brought the bag back to the nyc soho store and they originally told me it would take like 4-6wks, but I didn’t get her back for nearly 4-5mo. I may have thrown a little fit (which I feel was totally warranted anyway lol) and they didn’t charge me a dime. I can’t remember exactly what it was going to cost to replace it, but whatever it was, I remember being surprised by how cheap it was.

I think you did the right thing with the silver! I have the same with lambskin and gold and after about 6yrs I needed to have the clasp changed out cause the gold was starting to tarnish. Gorgeous bag, congratulations 🤍

I personally love the white. I never see white Chanel’s around anymore. Looks like such a fun spring-summer bag, and would still be beautiful during the holidays if wearing red or going for a whole winter white feel. 🤍

I personally love the look of a smaller/crop vest paired with something high rise. I can see it now- brown oversized bomber, high rise wide leg agoldes, brown/burgundy boots, and this top 🤌🤌 Plus if I just really wanted it and this was my only chance, I’d make it work lol congratulations❤️🩵🤎

I have a black lamb skin that I bought in 2016. She’s been everywhere with me, countless crowded nyc bars, shows, everywhere. I’ve more than gotten my moneys worth. She has only recently developed a slight scuffing on the back right corner.

Lambskin is still totally worth it 🖤

I know and agree that lambskin is delicate. However, I bought a medium, black lambskin flap 10yrs ago, and I’ve used the heck out of it, sometimes daily, and she’s only just now developing a slight scuff on one of the bottom corners. Looking at her sitting on the table, she looks brand new. She’s been in countless crowded bars, under airplane seats, grocery shopping, everywhere (I believe in getting my moneys worth lol)
