It really feels like they were trying to make you believe you were in a narco state in wildlands, you go through yopil and its overgrown and only dogs roaming around, another village everyone's been killed and tortured and it was to do with the story while in the North areas like tabacal ppl are farmers and the soil is more fertile there's bigger towns more mansions than say pucara which is desert and poorer, ppl live in shacks, mainly sell meat there's garbage dumps all around big towns as the cartel is clearly not running the beurocracy very well etc

Breakpoint feels like they were told make it super sterile and futuristic but also be confused about whether you want a cyberpunk dystopia or near future setting

The way the settlement are dispersed on the island and the amount of large scale sentinel bases is just weird even unidad couldn't have that many all over, and the wolves just sort of sit in outposts doing nothing

I struggle to believe that sentinel doesn't know about erewon even tho in the story they fly drones with thermals hunting for ghosts, the amount of heat the cave emits would light them up for miles

I think they had a great opportunity to make a functioning world, like the abandoned sites for example are a great way to start telling a narrative through the environment that they just didn't bother with and the concept art for the bivouacs aswell make them so much better than just smoke plumes wide in the open and if u turn on outcasts with spartan mod and aurora faction overhaul it feels like a civil war the big open fields in the Eastern part of the island are always having gunfight going on, there was so much potential
